So Danny Needham seems to be busy as hell. He is a drummer for Venom who just appeared on 70000 tons of Metal ship in 2012. And in parallel he is drumming and touring for Tony Martin.

A really good new !! good surprise from Tony , a group at the height of his talent . Dario Mollo is a fantastic musician . The first good new about the Sabbath ‘s World since the beginning of the year , sure .

After listening to Tony’s track that was provided, I gotta tell ya-I was pleasantly surprised! I’ll definately buy the CD and catch one of his shows if he makes it statewide. Thanks Joe for keeping us posted, keep up the great work sir!

Sabbath with Martin is fucking amazing. ‘Cross Purposes’ is one of the best Sabbath albums period.

i’m as big a sabbath fan as anyone but i dont get all the hype about yet ANOTHER reunion. Hard to imagine seeing these guys perform here in 2012 as being anything close to what is was like seeing Sabbath live in the 70s. No disprespect to the fellas, but guys playing heavy metal in their 60s is a pretty poor subsitute for what was once a great thing. Thats what I took away from the earlier Mark i reunions. The new studio album…well see. I just think the whole thing is a set up for disappointment for the fans. Hope im wrong.

if the guys in sabbath read the posts here, let me offer the four of you this thought:
the beatles would love to record a new album and tour, but they can’t because two of them are dead.
led zeppelin would love to record a new album and tour, but one of them is dead.
the who would, too, but two of them are dead. pink floyd? two of them are dead.
black sabbath, for some inexplicable reason, still can do this–record and tour. but, for some other inexplicable rea$on($), they always seem to let some bull$hit get in the way. why not do something for the fans FIRST–record and tour. you can squabble about divying up the booty in court afterwards. do it before someone adds black sabbath to the ever-growing list of bands who can never do it again. dan rivard.

People who don’t give Martin era Sabbath a chance are only cheating themselves. Cross Purposes is one of my all- time favorite albums. I’d love to see this band make it. Like you said those Martin era songs need to be kept alive.
