The track Iron Man from this album was given a Grammy Award for "Best Metal Performance" on February 23, 2000.
This album is a double live disc/tape. It was taken from the December 4 & 5 live shows at the NEC.
There is a limited edition Digipac available in addition to the standard CD. The only difference is the digipac
packaging. Pictures, and the CD insert are exactly the same as the standard CD.
Selling My Soul uses a drum machine. Bill's laid down track was deemed "too out-of-time", so they used a drum
machine instead.
The two new studio tracks were rumoured
(but weren't) to have been written during the sessions for Ozzy's Ozzmosis album.
(Egocentric remark alert) - My name is in the list of Thank You's - thanks to Bill Ward for fulfilling a lifelong dream of
mine to have my name in a Black Sabbath record (see
image).
A working title for this album
was "Songs from the Black Box".
