Notes
  • Bill is surprisingly NOT playing drums on the album, he's singing only.
  • The "two roses" cover shown above was the inital release of the album, and according to Bill Ward's people, is a misprint. A corrected album cover with far more readable liner notes was released late in 2000 - anyone who has the Two Roses cover knows what I'm talking about).

Sound Clips

Mark Jones and the folks who are managing Bill Ward were kind enough to grant me permission to put a few sound clips from Bill's "When the Bough Breaks" album on my web site. These files are Real Audio sound files, and you must have a Real Player to hear them. If you don't have Real Player, get it!

Here are the sounds (they average about 45 seconds each):

  1. Hate
  2. Please Help Mommy
  3. When I Was a Child

Mike Stark interviewed Bill Ward around the time of the release of this album, and here you can hear a few Real Audio remarks by Bill about some of the tracks on his album.

  1. Bill Ward on the song 'When the Bough Breaks'
  2. Bill Ward on the Track 'Animals'
  3. ABC News Report on Release of Album
  4. Bill Ward on Going Solo

NOTE: There were two album covers for this album. The "two roses" one was a mistake, and was the original pressing. The second one has been pressed, but most stores are still selling the "two roses" one.
