This page is dedicated to bringing you information about the various Black Sabbath fanzines available. If you run a club or publish a fanzine, or know of one, please E-Mail me with info about it, and I'll put one up here. If possible, I'd like a sample issue so I can scan in the cover and have a picture for it here. E-mail me and we can discuss details. Please understand that if it's not here, I don't know about it. Send me some info!

Las Cruces De Sabbath (Sabbath Crosses)
An Argentinian Fanzine

My name is Fernando "Blackie" Serani, from Argentina, and I run the unnofficial Black Sabbath Fan Club. The name of the club, as long as the name of our magazine, is "Las Cruces de Sabbath" ("Sabbath Crosses"). We exist since June 1994, when a group of friends decided to join themselves around an unique passion: The Black Witch, The Great Four, Black Sabbath. I send this mail hoping to be included in your Black Sabbath Page, which is our constant reference (and honestly, the most complete web site) to check out the latest news about the Sabs. I know that in France, Germany and UK there are Fan Clubs and magazines about Black Sabbath; so we also want to be known, as we are the ONLY SABBATH MAG IN SOUTH AMERICA.

Here in Argentina, we are a link between all heavy metal fans, specially Sabbath fans. We trade bootlegs (you’d be amazed if ya know the huge market of records and bootlegs that are traded here), Cds, photos and all kind of stuff related to Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, etc. We have three issues of our magazine in the street, Nº 2 and Nº3 with exclusive interviews to Ian Gillan and Glenn Hughes. Soon the rumour of our existence (and the readers of "Sabbath Crosses") has reached other South American countries, such as Venezuela, Brazil, México, and many others. We are prepairing Nº4, which will include and exclusive interview with Ronnie Dio (he visited Argentina on November 23, 1997).

We had the priviledge to meet Ozzy, Geezer, and Dio during their visits to our country. Despite Black Sabbath had been here twice, we couldn’t meet Iommi and co. personally. We also had the honour to interview ex-Sabbath members, as Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Ronnie Dio, and Vinnie Appice (all of them could’nt believe we were doing a mag about the Sabs!). Thanks to Latin MTV, during an interview in Miami with Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler, the interviewer gave them Sabbath Crosses Nº2 on air! The three of them were very surprised about the rare photos included in that issue!.

You can view three magazine covers of theirs here: [ Cover 1 | Cover 2 | Cover 3 ]
