I feel for this dude. Everyone should be able to see this gig. The good
thing about living in Denmark, is that most of Europe is a 1 or 2 hour
plane ride, so he can probably catch them in metal-crazy Deutschland. I saw
H&H in Vancouver, it was awesome. The only downer was that all the H&H
tshirts were sold out in large size by the time I got there (Midway through
Megadeth). Oh, the other depressing thing was that the show eventually
ended. I can't wait to see them again in San Jose.

Iommi was playing on some songs a white SG with a black cross on the body,
and I think a tremelo bar. I think that was also another detail to differ
H&H from Sabbath, as outside of the EARLY paranoid video, I haven't seen
Iommi with a white SG.

This just gets better and better! I got my tickets for May 11 and I am
wired! You really couldn't really ask for a better set list. We're 15 rows
back and going to get hammered! Paid out the ass for them, but it will be
worth it! I hope the set doesn't change by that time. So far it hasn't.
Have yet to hear the new song. Even though I have the other albums, I'll
definitly be buying the DIO YEARS album since it's re-mastered. The live
album is just a feather in the cap of an already great summer of music.
See, you get the Osbornes out of the and shit starts to get done. I know it
won't last long, but this is more than you could ask for! Iommi will go
back to doing his albums( AND HOPEFULLY TOUR!), and Ronnie and Geezer will
be back in their bands. I can't believe, that after all these years, I am
still INTENSLY fired up to see them. Waaaaay back in 1973 had to be just
about the greatest night of my life, musically. I couldn't believe anything
this good existed, and here they are ripping us to shreds LIVE!!! The
first time I heard them was sometime in 71(Yes, I'm old). I went over to a
friends house and he said "You have GOT to hear this!". He puts on this 45
and the first thing I hear is ELECTRIC FUNERAL! He flips it over and
there's IRON MAN! Right then everything else got pushed back in status.
Deep Purple, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, everything else was now second.
Nothing's changed since then. There is nothing like hearing Iommi play
live. I'll be curious to hear what Ronnie's music sounds like after this
third time. I really hope they keep FALLING OFF THE EDGE OF THE WORLD in
the set. I've never heard them do that live yet. Oh yeah....and how about
that live album from this tour!!!!!!!! I certainly hope so! I'm taking May
11 off and that is all I'm playing that day.

Down did not play due to illness in the band so Megadeath came on as
opening act and was quite impressive since I had never seen them
previously. When Sabbath took the stage however, it was if i had gone back
to seeing them in 1982 at the Stampede Corral in Calgary.

The crowd was about 7.000 in attendance and even though the saddledome can
hold up to 15,000 sold out, everyone had a great time of it, from the
opening of E5150 to Mob Rules to Heaven & Hell, It was like they had never
left and they had the magic and power I always knew this line up had. Even
though Ozzy is still the godfather of metal in my books, this is the lineup
of Sabbath that I came to know and love and seeing them play once again has
been a total thrill I will not soon forget.

Ronnie's vocals were totally impressive and Tony's guitar work was
incredible( I feel he still doesn't get the recognition he deserves) Geezer
and Vinnie are a great rythem section and always will be, so to see the
band together once again and just totally rock our asses off has been a
dream come true for me.

Let's all just hope this time that even though they have other projects to
go back to afterwards that this is not the end once again......I guess only
time will tell.

LONG LIVE HEAVEN & HELL!!!

[ Ed Note: I think it's a mistake for people to expect it to continue after
this tour. That's not to say it can't, but if you THINK it will, then
you'll get disappointed when/if it doesn't. ]

i was watching the r-n-r hall of fame 2007 last night and saw that they
included sammy hagar with van halen for the induction into the hall of fame
wich was good because he did contribute to van halen after david lee roth
left. but my question is,why didnīt they include RONNIE JAMES DIO last year
when black sabbath was inducted into the hall of fame? ronnie james dio
contributed to black sabbath when ozzy left and although i am an ozzy fan
both solo and with black sabbath, i also feel that ronnie james dio should
have been inducted into the hall of fame with black sabbath. i mean i love
ozzy but i also admire ronnie james dio for his longevity in rock n roll
from the time in elf to rainbow to black sabbath to dio. i know this rock n
roll hall of fame thing doesnīt mean anything to alot of people and we all
know that ronnie james dio is a true rock living legend. and i do think he
should have been inducted into the hall of fame along with ozzy and the
rest of black sabbath. just like sammy was along with diamond dave and the
rest of van halen. can any one tell me why ronnie james dio wasnīt inducted
last year along with sabbath?

[ Ed Note: As I understand the procedure, "Dio Sabbath" would have to be
inducted seperately. Personally, I want the Tony Martin Sabbath in
there. ]

Subject: Review for Calgary

Hi Joe,

It's been ten years since I last contributed to the Sabbath mailing list,
but here I am again, still surviving.

Anyways, the set list for Calgary was identical to that for Vancouver,
except for one welcome surprise: "Lonely Is The Word" has been added to the
encore, as the penultimate song right before "Neon Knights". In fact, it's
a slightly extended version, with a few bars of the opening riff tagged on
to the end of the song.

As for the show itself: Personal highlights aside, the band absolutely
*nailed* "Computer God". In particular, the latter half of the song was
flawless. They also turned in a very good performance of "Falling Off The
Edge Of The World". And, as might be expected, everything else was well
done too. I'm just picking songs that were especially impressive.

(My personal highlight, incidentally, was "The Sign of the Southern Cross"
which they didn't do on the Dehumanizer tour. I wish there had been room
for "Letters From Earth", but you can't have everything.)

As far as the new songs are concerned, I'm surprised that they selected
"The Devil Cried" as the single. Having now heard the other two, I think
"Devil" is the weakest of the three. "Ear in the Wall", in particular,
seems much better. But, then again, I've only heard these songs once.

Sabbath Mk.II may not be as young as they used to be, but they can still
turn in a top-notch, professional performance. I suspect they have several
more good years in them yet. (Geezer's right hand technique certainly
hasn't slowed down!)

And -- it's good to see you are still keeping the faith.

Cheers
Rob Pinnegar

[ Ed Note: Black Sabbath isn't a "faith" to me. It's just music. ]

Just wanted to say the show rocked. Down didn't come onstage as Phil was
sick I guess, but whatever audio probs Megadeath had in Vancouver didnt
exist here. They absolutely ruled. Dio was phenomenal as was the entire
band and set.

It doesn't get ANY better than this. Tell your members they do NOT want to
miss this once in a lifetime event.

Hey,

The show was great, simply amazing. Down did not play, due to an
illness(not sure who it was), and a make up date was being scheduled for
Calgary. Megadeth, was alright, having never been a fan of them, i didn't
know what to expect, but they did a lot better than what i would have
thought.

Heaven and Hell, I'm speechless! They put on a great show. For me, the
highlight of the night was when they did Heaven and Hell, it was perfect,
and sent shivers up my spine. Dio hasn't skipped a beat, he is still
phenomenal, and still, in my opinion, the God of Heavy Metal. Tony Iommi,
looks so cool, he's so happy being up on stage. Geezer is still a great
bassist. The drumming was great. The only thing i was disappointed in was
the drum solo, and being a drummer myself, i wished it could have been a
lot longer, not lasting only five minutes. But Vinny is still one of my
favourites.

All in All, i really enjoyed the show, i would give Megadeth a 7 out of 10,
and Heaven and Hell, an 11 out of 10, I really loved everything about them
and the show. Everybody left with smiles on their faces.

Rock On,
Mike

Hello Joe,
Black Sabbath (H&H) put on a great show here although I am somewhat miffed
after hearing they did 3 fewer songs than in Calgary and Edmonton. Missing
from Winnipeg's set list were Lonely is the Word (one of my favorites),
Falling off the Edge of the World and Ear in the Wall. No songs were
played that were not played in those cities. Dio sounded great in the lower
registers but had some difficulty hitting the higher notes and in some
songs didn't even try to hit them (maybe the reason for the shorter
performance?). The band was quite tight, just a few glitches I thought,
but its early in the tour. The sound was phenominal - Heavy and dark in
sharp contrast to Megadeth's set which had a more polished tighter sound.
I enjoyed their set alot but I prefer Sabbath's music. The feel of it is
just more gripping. The stage is great as well. You might think the gothic
theme would look cheesy, but it is world class. The materials and
workmanship were high quality and it showed. The crowd of 7,500 appeared
to love the show.

Just thrilled to see Tony and Geezer in the 'Peg. I missed them in 1970 as
I was only 11 back then. - the last time they played here. I think 37
years is too long of a wait. Highlights for me were Sign of the Southern
Cross and Shadow of the Wind which is absolutely wicked. Has to be Iommi's
doomiest riff of all time and thats saying alot! Cannot wait for the DVD/CD
that is planned for this tour. People, you have to check them out when
they go through your town - its well worth it.

Nobody else is posting anything about this night, so I might as well post
something.

First off, DOWN was not on the bill, due to Phil Anselmo's strep throat.
This disappointed a lot of people, myself included. When does one get to
see DOWN? Never, apparently. But, I was there for another reason, one
that was also a rarity and, to me, even more special: Dio-Sabbath/Heaven
and Hell. I got a chance to see the Mk. 1 reunion in 1999 and that was
also very special. This one though, was actually more unexpected; the tour
kind of happened out of nowhere, and to top it off, they actually came to
REGINA. Most tours of this magnitude either skip Saskatchewan entirely, or
simply don't come to Western Canada (except for Vancouver) at all. I've
been a huge fan of everything Sabbath (yes, everything) for a number of
years now, and while I would have been happy to see any incarnation of the
band, I have now had the fortune to see the two most important (and my two
favourite) versions of it. And they did not disappoint. The set list was
basically the same as you've seen for other nights on this tour, minus "Ear
in the Wall" and "Lonely Is the Word". Vinny's drum solo was really cool,
Iommi's guitar solo was good, all the joking around on stage was fun to see
(it was pretty clear that the guys were getting along well and having a
good time), and Dio was just captivating. The latest version of Megadeth
was quite good as well, the Drover brothers do a heck of a job making some
very difficult material look easy. All in all, it was a great night, even
with the absence of Down.

Megadeth put on a really cool show too.

You guys in the U..S are in for a real treat!!

All I can say is go see them if you can. Incredible setlist from start to
finish. Total jamming. Geezer and Tony just like bookends killing it. "I'
was soooo powerful live..."Die Young," "Neon Knights," and "Heaven and
Hell" amazing as were "Sign of the Southern Cross" and "Falling Off The
Edge of the World." New songs great! Let's hope we get the DVD and live
CD out of this. Totally worth it. Saw them on Heaven and Hell and Mob
Rules tours...the music has only gotten better as their legend and skills
have grown. Like a fine wine to be savoured, this show certainly made up
for the last few Ozzfest's. Dio is still "The Voice." Iommi got to shred
way more than within the confines of the limited Ozzfest setlist. Truly
inspired playing by all. Great stage, sound and lighting. A completely
professional and extraordinary show from start to finish. Just wished they
played a few more. Not one bad song. Butler and Iommi just laid it down
and Tony really seemed to being enjoying himself and the crowd. Geezer
Butler is greatest rock 'n' roll bassist alive. This is one of the
greatest heavy metal / hard rock lineups ever assembled and must not be
missed! Heaven and Hell is BLACK SABBATH. They should bust out "Lonely Is
The Word" and "TV Crimes" for the encore.

I rarely ever contribute to your sensational side (cause I am a lazy

live shows to look forward to in the non too distant future I thought I
gave away the information that there is at least one more European = date.

Remember the geezer that was ranting that the band were not coming to
his native Denmark in a recent issue???:

Well he should be a very happy customer now as Heaven and Hell are to play
KB Hallen in Copenhagen/Denmark on June 6th =96 the night before their
appearance on the Sweden Rock Festival in S=F6lvesborg/Sweden.

Also have it rumoured that they are to have a tour/a few dates in Germany
in October (nothing confirmed so far) =96 but with a full blown = UK tour
in November that doesn't sound too far fetched really.

Hope to see many happy faces in Denmark and Sweden for those two nights.

The new songs are definitely worth the wait . also "Shadow of the = wind=94
hasn't caught on with me just yet..

Hey Joe,

Love the site! I've been checking it for a few years and I've learned a ton
about Sabbath that I would have never known other wise. Here's my review of
the Radio City show......

I'm a 26 year old who first saw Sabbath in 98-99. I love all the Ozzy-era
cds and have always stuck up for the man. Wow was I wrong when I thought
Sabbath was nothing without him. Dio shocked me from the first note that
came out of his mouth! I can't believe how great the Dio-era material is.
He truly is an amazing singer and unlike Ozzy, he's taken care of himself
over the years and sang perfect for 2 hours. I'm grabbing the greatest hits
the second it hits the shelves. Iommi is truly a living legend on the
guitar and I have never heard him play so well.

The show was a landmark in Rock n' Roll history and I can't wait for the
dvd (I was jumping by the camera so I hope to see my drunk self in it).

I hope Heaven and Hell keeps this going and considers giving us a full
album of new material! I'll be going to NJ in May for sure!

Subject: Just a comment on Radio City Music Hall

I was there.

It was a beautiful evening in New York City. The temperature was warm and
the city was active for a Friday night. The band turned in a fantastic
performance at Radio City.

The tickets might as well have been printed on gold ingots. No amount of
money seemed to get people to sell. There were a lot of offers I heard
around $400 each but nobody seemed to want to part with them for that small
sum. A wise choice! They were priceless.

The setlist was about the same as the earlier tour but they only played 2
of the new songs ("Ear" was skipped). It was no surpise that the crowd knew
all the songs and sang along. Geezer was his usual amazing self. I could
have watched him all night but did not, there was just too much talent on
that stage to watch only one player. Vinnie played hard and did a nice drum
solo. He fit the band well. Tony? Well.. he blazed. I am always shocked by
how good he is. Ronnie sang well. He did miss a few of the really high
vocal parts but not very many. The impromptu chant of "De-oh, de-oh,
de-oh..., took Ronnie by surprise and he was as modest about the accolade
as was possible at that moment.

A few of the highlights for me were:
I
Sign of the Southern Cross
Voodoo
Die Young
Heaven and Hell
Neon Knights

Heaven and Hell closed the regular set. Lonely is the Word was played as
the first encore. Neon Knights was the show closer.

The show was being taped. There were both audio and video trucks parked on
the north side of the building. Plenty of cameras were evident during the
show but they stayed enough out of the way that you could enjoy the show.
Dio played a bit to the camera instead of the audience.

A great night. If you like this era of Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell do
not disappiont, go see 'em.

Cheers!

Castlegar, BC
Canada

I'll be 49 in about a month, so I've seen a few concerts in my day. Kiss (7
times), Rush (3 times) as well as Boston, Queen, Deep Purple, Thing Lizzy
(with Phil Lynott), Styx (the original) and the list goes on. Wednesday
night, however, was a dream come true. Although Black Sabbath has been my
favorite band since 1971, I've never had the chance to see them on stage.
The closest I came was Spokane in 1980, but they cancelled the day of the
show- 'illness in the band', and we all know what that was- so March 14th
in Calgary, Alberta was not just another concert to me- not by a long shot.

My wife & I left Castlegar, BC Wednesday morning for the 7 hour drive at
5am. After arriving in Calgary and heading straight for Recordland, a most
excellent used CD & vinyl store, after securing a hotel room, we headed for
the Saddle Dome around 5pm.

Arriving so early parking was a cinch and we hit the casino on the grounds
for a spot of gambling and a bite to eat. Around 6pm we walked the few
hundred yards to the dome and were one of the first in line. Flyers on the
door announced that, due to an illness in the band, Down would not be
playing that night. I couldn't have cared less.

At the nearest merch booth I spent more than usual. I couldn't decide
between the "Live Evil" or "Heaven & Hell" shirts, so I bought one of each,
XXX. hey, I'm a big guy. I also bought a key ring, and my wallet was then
$95 thinner. The other bands had lots of shirts too, but I wasn't there for
them.

We found our seats in no time and watched the arena fill VERY slowly. We
ended up with about a half filled arena. roughly 8,000 according to The
Calgary Sun the next day. which was about what I had expected. A capacity
crowd would've been nice, but that was never going to happen.

At show time a local deejay announced that Down would not be playing (that
Phil Anselmo, SO reliable.) to a round of boo's, which quickly turned to
cheers when he said that both of the other bands would be extending their
sets.

Within minutes the house lights went down and Megadeth stormed the stage.
They played four numbers before saying "good evening". In a tight set that
saw Mustaine and his co-guitarist working the crowd from the edge of the
stage, they plowed through a list of hits that included "Symphony Of
Destruction", "A Toute Le Monde" and "Peace Sells", which had many singing
along.

I'd love to provide a complete set list, but from our shitty seats it was
hard to tell what was going on at times. Sight lines were great, but we
were near the top on the left side, almost even with the p.a., so much of
the music literally went past us. And the noise from the blithering drunks
behind us was not helpful. I had purchased our tickets online via
Ticketmaster and settled for what they said were 'best available'. don't
trust them.

After Megadeth's encore, teardown was swift. It couldn't have been much
more than half an hour before Heaven & Hell were ready to roll. As the
lights went down we heard "E5150" and you could feel the excitement jump. I
held my breath as Tony Iommi walked to the front of the stage and
acknowledged the crowd with a friendly wave. I couldn't believe I was
finally going to watch HIM play!

The castle set felt perfect and the use of lights and video, while
simplistic in comparison to modern pop concerts, was excellent. No
complicated effects or dozens of dancers, as many pop artists must do to
take your mind off how inconsequential and dull their music really is.

Starting with a lesser known tune in "After All (The Dead)", their show was
off to a logy start. True, the song was thematically right on, and perhaps
it was their way of setting themselves apart from the other bands, but they
should've kicked in with something faster. Just a few numbers into Heaven &
Hell's set, my wife and I abandoned our seats and headed for the back of
the arena because I wanted to hear as well as see. Next time that's where
we'll buy our seats- just gotta remember to bring binoculars.

It was a great gig all the way around. The crowd was slow to respond, but
once they warmed up they were with the band all the way. Ronnie worked the
crowd as he always does, and Vinnie Appice pounded his kit with great
enthusiasm. Geezer stayed rooted to his own area, concentrating hard on the
music and not playing as theatrically as he does with the original Sabs.
After playing as hard as he does, he must have to ice down his hands and
arms after each gig!

But I was really there to see Tony Iommi. Though not a guitar player myself
I still consider him an idol, and thoroughly enjoyed his performance. He
was friendly with the crowd and wandered all over the stage, even throwing
Ronnie a friendly one-armed hug as he went to change guitars. With the
exception of the run up to the solo in "Lonely Is The Word" during the
encore where he seemed to lose his place momentarily, his playing was
flawless and exciting. The second song of the encore was a blistering
version of "Neon Knights", and the show was done. As they left the stage
Ronnie, whose voice was in top form the entire night, ended things with a
hopeful "We love you! See you again!"

I waited 27 years to see this band, 27 years since that cancelled Spokane
gig, and it was worth it. If I'd had the money I would have followed them
to Saskatoon and beyond but, alas, the real world calls. I eagerly await
"Black Sabbath: The Dio Years" in April and the promised release of a live
CD and DVD from this tour in the fall, as promised. Sometimes, when you
want something as badly as this show, it can't possibly live up to
expectations. Happily it did, in my case, and I hope to see Heaven & Hell
on stage again.

Subject: Fan review for Heavan

Ronnie James Dio, Geezer Butler, and Tony Iommi must be masters of time.
These guys sound as good as they did 20 years ago if not better. To pull
off what they do at their age is simply unbelievable. How old is Ronnie
now? I believe I seen on his web site that he just had is 64th birthday not
too long ago. Is that possible? How does his vocal chords last like they
do show after show? To me, that is some sort of VOODOO magic, which by the
way, he sung perfectly. The same with Tony and Geezer. These guys have
been travelling around the world for what seems like eternity now and they
do show after show with such great sound and energy. To me, all of them
are living gods. I just don't know how they do it.

I thought the best part of the show is when they go into the "little white
shape looked down at me" part in the song heaven and hell. I have seen it
done before in concert, but this time they did it with a much more evil
tone and background. I thought satan was going to literally rise out of
the concrete floor there at the Steelback Center. Great job guys, that was
what I was looking for. Down jammed f---in awsome, but the singer had a
sore throat or something, but he put on a hell of a show anyway. Those
guys don't F--k around. Megadeth was everything I expected too and much
more. After all the years of going to concerts, I have never seen these
guys live. All I can say is, they got there sound right, because there was
reports of earlier shows that they had problems with feedback and such.
Not this time. They whole band played as tight as a Rush concert with just
a hell of a lot more guitar work. It was all good. The only downer was
that it was a balmy 5 degrees outside on the first day of spring in Canada,
and being that it was a Tuesday, only half of a 6000 seat arena filled the
seats. The 3000 people that did show up though were f'n rowdy as hell and
we all had a good time. Neither of the bands let up due to the lower
attendance which tells me all of those guys have class to not disappoint
those who did show up. I drove 420 miles round trip to see this show and
it was worth every mile. I will hopefully see them again in Chicago on May
5th where there should be a lot larger crowd and a kickin party going on.
I have to see this show at least two times, I couldn't soak enough in on
just one.

Special thanks goes to Ronnie,Vinny,Geezer and Tony, Thank you for doing
this tour again, it means a lot to me. Doug B., Traverse City MI.

Hey, I ordered my copy...Black Sabbath - Live At Hammersmith Odeon
...individually numbered limited edition of 5,000 copies!

You can get them here while they last....

Black Sabbath - Live At Hammersmith Odeon

Together for a short but memorable time, the second incarnation of Black
Sabbath began in 1979 when founding members Tony Iommi and Terry "Geezer"
Butler were joined by Ronnie James Dio. The former singer of Elf (and later
Rainbow and Dio) added his fiery, demonic howl to the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame group's crushing mix of iconic riffs, gloomy grooves, and doom-soaked
imagery on a trio of studio releases, a classic live album, and a couple of
tours.

The latest Rhino Handmade limited edition CD revisits a stop on one of
those epic tours. Live At Hammersmith Odeon features Dio, Iommi, Butler,
and drummer Vinny Appice raising the roof one December night in London
while Sabbath was making the rounds for their Mob Rules album. Previously
unreleased, the concert spotlights Black Sabbath as they storm through 14
of the Dio-era's best, including "Neon Knights," "Heaven And Hell,"
"Children Of The Sea," and "Country Girl." The band also performs several
pre-Dio classics including "Paranoid," "Children Of The Grave," and a
white-hot version of "War Pigs."

Produced in cooperation with the band, Live At Hammersmith Odeon features
thundering sound and packaging that reproduces the original 1981 tour
program. With the reunited quartet -- billed as Heaven And Hell - now
launching a hotly anticipated world tour, it's high time to give Black
Sabbath's Dio days their due...

Live At Hammersmith Odeon is available for $19.98 as an individually
numbered limited edition of 5,000 copies. Get it now at:

Subject: The Dio Years thoughts
Date: Sat, 7 Apr 2007 08:57:47 -0400

I picked up a copy of the BLACK SABBATH The Dio Years. I'm very pleased to
be able to hear all these old songs on one CD, and the new ones as well.

I like the packaging and I'd rate it as very good, it is classic, and
modern at the same time. The illustration inside is cool.

I went to the record store here and it was sold out. I went to another
store the next day - and it was sold out. The third store I went to - it
was nowhere to be found in the Black Sabbath section or the new releases,
but I asked and they had it behind the counter.

There are so many great songs, that it's hard to please everyone.
Personally, I never thought Lady Evil was a great song and would not have
been upset if thet were left off, I would have rather had Sign Of The
Southern Cross on there. Most of the other choices were good ones. It was
put together very well.

Only 3 new songs is torture, as this lineup is so good it makes me want to
hear a full album. Again, I am happy the band is doing new material with
Dio - for awhle there it seemed we'd never hear anything new.

Perhaps this ignites a fire under Ozzy's ass, but I doubt anything they can
do with Ozzy now will match up to the old Ozzy era stuff, and certainly on
the vocal side I feel would never compare with the new Dio/Sabbath songs.
Anyway, notice how the Ozzy camp has been trying to get atttention in the
midst of all this Sabbath DioYears/Heaven And Hell stuff. They (Ozzy) came
out right after the announcement of this reunion, suggesting there would be
an Ozzy solo album, a Sabbath album, a free Ozzfest, and now the same week
The Dio Years is released and in the middle of all the Heaven and Hell tour
hoopla Ozzy announces "New Album Title Confirmed" and states "MY new album
kicks ass!" Ok, I hope it does Ozzy - we love you, but the Sabbath guys got
sick of waiting fo you. I believe this Dio Years/Heaven and Hell thing will
cause some trouble with Sabbath vs. Ozzy once again - if it has not
already.

The tour of Heaven and Hell - people are saying it has been great. I will
see it in Holmdel, NJ. Now if you look at the dates it looks like June &
July in Europe, with no dates after that until November in the UK. I
speculate that more Euro dates may be added, perhaps South America, Japan,
and Australia? Or will we see a SECOND leg US tour? It would indeed be
awesome to see more US dates as there are tones of places they can hit -
hopefully my town. I will be in Europe on tour with my band Beyond Fallen
in July, so perhaps our paths will cross with the Heaven and Hell tour, and
I'll get to see it over there or even run into the guys in the airport -
who knows.

I ordered a few copies of the Live Hammersmith limited run of 5000 from Mob
Rules Tour. I just had to have it.

The DVD will be awesome. So all these things add up to an awesome year for
the fans. A dream come true for Dio era Sabbath fans like me.

I also wanted to send a big horn salute to Joe S. for having his name in
the thanks for Black Sabbath The Dio Years. It surely is an honor to be
proud of, and deserving for all your hard work and dedication.

Joe -
I know that you must get a ridiculous number of emails daily but I'll add
one more. Congratulations on being included in Geezer's list of
thank-you's. You do a great job with all of your web-sites and you earned
it, in my opinion.

I purchased my copy of The Dio Years at Best-Buy. Other than Best Buy, I
checked two Wal-Mart stores and a Target store. Of those four stores, only
Best Buy was stocking the new CD. I was surprised Wal-Mart didn't have it
since they offer it online.

Hope everything is well with your family.

Tony Stutzman
