and 'too late' off the dehumanizer album!!
I liked his version of "Cross Eyed Mary" better, damn he sings that one with just enough attitude to keep the original feeling there while adding his own touch, extremely well done. "Too Late" is an extremely emotional song, love that one even if I think there are others where his performance is even better :D

Good call, Homeward and especially Love is All and Sitting In A Dream are brilliant vocal performances.

That being said, I must agree with most of you: Stargazer is probably RJD's greatest performance ever, and in my books the best vocal performance of all time. The ad-libbing in the end is simply subliminal...

I like Stargazer too. The amount of feeling while he sings it is incredible.
Well I don’t want no preacher telling me about the god in the sky
No I don’t want no one to tell me where I’m gonna go when I die
I wanna live my life, I don’t want people telling me what to do
I just believe in myself, ’cause no one else is true

Sensitive to light (Rainbow) I just love the delivery throughout the entire song.

The one that gets me every time is "with Blood on my haaaaaaands!" from Letters From Earth. Goosebumps.

Hard one. All of RJD's stuff is really good. Elf to Rainbow to Sabbath to Dio. The only album I really don't like is Angry Machines. A Light in the Black, All the Fools Sailed Away, My Eyes, Falling Off the Edge of the World.

Stargazer and A Light In The Black from Rainbow, definitely. Going directly from Rainbow to Black Sabbath is a surreal thing when you think about it, but Dio did it, and it was amazing.
