Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon - "Now You See It (Now You Don't)"
Listening to Ozzy for the first time in about 4 years right now. I bought his first three albums around December 2002, and after finding out that the first 2 were re-recorded (and finding out what Ozzy did to Lee and Bob) I put them in a box in my bedroom and didn't even take them out. When I transferred my music onto iTunes (after first getting my iPod) I left them out entirely.
Tonight, I dug them back out. I've decided to put them on my iPod-- the first two with a special connotation for the 2002 versions-- and I ordered the original recordings off Amazon a while ago so I can add those as well. I'll try to complete my Ozzy collection with his other albums too.
Upon reflection I think it's sort of a blessing that I got the CD remasters when I did. If I had actually known what Ozzy had done, I would never have bought them in the first place. Now that I own them, I can at least hear them and see the differences between the original and new versions. I'll have both versions of both albums (like I do with Whitesnake's "Slide It In") and my collection will probably be more complete for it.
