Deep Purple - Might Just Take Your Life
"But that is not the question. Why are we here, that is the question. And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Godot to come."
    - Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot

“Music does not influence research work, but both are nourished by the same sort of longing, and they complement each other in the release they offer.”

Zombie's newest--Hellbilly Deluxe 2, the last track, The Man Who Laughs. Very cool song with a 70's vibe reminiscent of Iron Butterfly--must be the drum solo in the middle of the song. Very cool album.

Rob Zombie - Sick Bubble Gum (My favourite track of the album...but this is a real kick ass record from the start to finish...with probably the best riffs in Zombie history, including White Zombie!) ROCK THE MOTHERFUCKER!

    Dragonlord- Until The End
Catchy-as-hell upbeat track in the middle of a black metal album. Dug this out as I was just posting about them in the BM/Death topic.

Let me tell you now, about a friend of mine. He tried to shoot them lights, with whiskey and the wine. He didn't get so far, ah his gun was wrong. Now my sweet friend, where's your song? Shoot out the lights, shoot out the lights.

    Reflex in the sky
    Warn you you're gonna die
    Storm coming, you'd better hide
    From the atomic tide

    Flashes in the sky
    Turns houses into sties
    Turns people into clay
    Radiation minds decay

    Robot minds of robot slaves
    Lead them to atomic graves
    Plastic flowers, melting sun
    Fading moon falls upon

    Dying world of radiation,
    Victims of man's frustration
    Burning globe of obscene fire
    Like electric funeral pyre

    Buildings crashing down
    To Earth's cracking ground
    Rivers turn to mud
    Eyes melt into blood

    Earth lies in deathbed
    Clouds cry for the dead
    Tearing falling rain
    Ease the burning pain

    Electric Funeral
    Electric Funeral
    Electric Funeral
    Electric Funeral

    And so in the sky
    Shines the electric eye
    Supernatural king
    Takes earth under his wing

    Heaven's golden chorus sings
    Hell's angels flap their wings
    Evil souls fall to Hell
    Ever trapped in burning cell!

Brighton Rock (Queen) from Boston '76 great audience recording bootleg, i have lossless version (on audio dvd) which was shared on queenzone and on other bootleg sites (like dime, traders den, tapecity...) and i have to say the quality of recording is amazing, i heard some soundboards bootlegs which didn't sound as good as this. and the performance is amazing! if this was recorded and released officially i bet it would be one of the essential live albums like live at leeds (the who), how the west was won (zeppelin), at budokan (cheap trick), alive (kiss), made in japan (purple)... some guy on another forum said he isn't greatest queen fan but this bootleg blew him away. AMAZING!

    Oingo Boingo - Wierd Science

Totally left field, but I miss the 80's culture. Couldn't really experience it anyway being born in 1987.

Nah, no explanations needed. If it makes you happy, it's what counts.
