Let me tell you now, about a friend of mine. He tried to shoot them lights, with whiskey and the wine. He didn't get so far, ah his gun was wrong. Now my sweet friend, where's your song? Shoot out the lights, shoot out the lights.

Rainbow -- Tarot Woman. Damn this is a good album! Only 39 min. long, though.

    Correction: 33 minutes long!

Sons of Liberty - Don't Tread On Me

I am actually listening to the entire Sons of Liberty album "Brush Fires Of The Mind." This is a new(er) project of Jon Schaffer (Iced Earth).

Living in Minnesota, I like that one too!

In addition, I'm listening to the Tom Gabriel Warrior's Tryptykon album. A little different than listening to birds singing. In fact I think it made them fly south again...the Warrior be angry!

Indeed! Especially when a pheasant comes below the bedroom window and screams on top his lungs at 5am...nothing's quite like it!

Cathedral - The Guessing Game (Album)

This is very different from the classic albums (Carnival, Machine and Caravan) a lot more complex and varied...I'm liking it though...Lee sounds bit strange though, his voice has changed a bit since the Garden. The final track is lyrically something no other band than Cathedral could ever come up with!

    The IRON FIST!!!

This is one of my live favourites from Motörhead and one of their all-time best songs to begin with (this rises even above the mighty trio of Overkill, Bomber and Killed By Death...and gives a solid steel challenge to Ace Of Spades itself), this is the kind of song that screams at me to turn the volume up and bring the hammer down...

Wow, what a ballsy song by Motörhead...BAD RELIGION!!!

---------- Post added at 02:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:47 AM ----------

What a surprising song up next! Starting delicately & later hitting hard, the power ballad of the album "I Ain't No Nice Guy" (Featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Slash), hell there's even piano & organ sounds involved, in a Motörhead song! One of the jewels of this album March Or Die, an album that I'm listening through for the first time in my life after having recently purchased it, I've heard few of these songs before but this is the first full session.

And now, the good old friend, "Hellraiser"...

Fuck how this song rocks the shit out!!! Heard this song first from Ozzy's "No More Tears" back in 1995, I've heard this Motörhead version before yes...but didn't remember how hard this rocks!!!

BIBLE BLACK - a stellar performance from Knebworth's Sonisphere 2009. Fantastic footage that I'm watching here (for the FOURTH time in a row!), just one song from a documentary that was aired earlier tonight. Part 2 of the documentary is coming later on, got to see it too.

Dio made the classiest statement possible in the pre-show interview:

"...to see a hundred thousand people or to see a hundred people, it's just as important to me, doesn't matter to me. The audience is the most important thing, I don't care how many I'm playing in front of, I only know that MY job is to be great FOR THEM"

Again, as always, I'm giving my highest respect points to Dio - for his ever-powerful performance and this statement for his fans.

    Same!

And indeed what a great preformance!

Now this would be a show that should be released in full! Great filming and picture is sharp as hell!

The little interview was great indeed! Ronnie is such a class act...

I transfered the show to my computer and edited the Heaven And Hell's preformance and Ronnie's interview and burned it into a DVD...
