I' ve got this masterpiece of Massacre since it was released , like the EP Inhuman Condition with the fabulous cover of Venom' s Warhead with Cronos himself !!
just a difference : my cover of "From beyond" is red , not blue !!

I know of this strange colour anomaly, the original cover is blushy red with green creatures and blue logo, but I like both configurations. This new edition contains the EP Inhuman Condition.

Massacre - and their lineup of former Mantas/Death members - is one of the bands that I've known of for untold years but just never had the decisive moment of listening to them. My first experience of Massacre's music was in September 2009 when I first listened to the Dutch death/thrash masters Thanatos and their latest album Justified Genocide that includes their cover of Massacre's epic song Dawn Of Eternity...

In August 2010 Massacre and this album was first recommended to me by a good friend of mine, of course he knows my perennial taste for old school death metal. Now, at last, I got to buy this obvious and essential classic. I think the stock order service at the local Top Ten store is great, I can order almost anything for a decent price and without any postage costs - they'll send me a text message when my order has arrived.

    ...

While waiting for the arrival of the Magnum and Massacre albums, today I bought this last missing piece to my Paradise Lost collection for only 6,00 €...after many years of knowing about this...One of the sales people gave me a hint last week that they would have a low price batch of this DVD for sale this week...While I'm enjoying the studio albums, live DVDs/CDs and the new demo release of Paradise Lost, I think this live DVD is a priceless jewel for a long time fan like myself...

P.S. A message monster like this goes to show my passion for real, physical releases.

Finally, I thought I'd never find it!

Now here's one I've been looking for.

Remixed and remastered 2011 reissue with bonus disc.

^^ I find the 2011 reissue of Individual Thought Patterns to be excellent and the bonus disk kicks. Also great choice in the Megadeth purchase - I own the original Killing Is My Bussiness....

I had the mini-LP pressing for KIMB, but found it absolutely annoying to listen to.
So far, I'm liking this remix so what the hey.

    Nightwish - Imaginaerum

Took me too long to get this one! It's fuckin' brilliant! Anette sounds awesome and the vocal melodies are absolutely fantastic...best ever on a Nightwish album I'd say.

I made 2 great discoveries from the auction site today, again from a known seller...

A brand new & remastered CD digipack for only 8,50 €...this album has been somewhat difficult to find conveniently...

Special edition CD & DVD set for only 11,90 €...just for the sake of the music videos...

Let me tell you now, about a friend of mine. He tried to shoot them lights, with whiskey and the wine. He didn't get so far, ah his gun was wrong. Now my sweet friend, where's your song? Shoot out the lights, shoot out the lights.

I liked Motorhead back in the late '70s / early '80s, but have been pretty indifferent since. For nostalgic reasons, finally got round to updating my vinyl to CD (Overkill is my fave 'head album, updated that one a while back)

It's a 2-disc package and there's loads of bonus material - disc 1 contains the original album remastered plus 7 bonus tracks from the same shows:

    Over The Top
    Shoot You in the Back
    Jailbait
    Leaving here
    Fire Fire
    Too Late, Too Late
Bite The Bullet / The Chase is Better Than The Catch

The original album was made up from 1 date in Leeds and 2 dates in Newcastle and Disc 2 is a complete 11 song set from alternative nights within those 3 dates. It's described as 'out takes' which made me think they'd be shortened somehow, but they're all full songs. A really great package overall, highly recommended!
