I bought the Metalogy box set back when it was a new release, but I always wanted to have this DVD as a separate digipack release...I got this yesterday from a local second hand shop for only 7,90 €, it's like brand new...

Yeah, couldn't believe it myself. But then again, the same seller always seems to have something special on the rack, rare CDs or good live DVDs. As an ardent Priest fan, I had to take this DVD for a price like this even though I have the Metalogy box set where this DVD is included. This original digipack edition with the raised relief "teardrop steel" surface has been somewhat difficult to find anyway, so a chance like this couldn't be missed.

Slash, featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators - Apocalyptic Love

Kill Devil Hill - Kill Devil Hill

I have listened to both a couple times this week, and really like both.

He's no Uli or Michael Schenker, but I think he is great on the likes Animal Magnetism, Blackout and Love At First Sting, and the tracks he did on Lovedrive. His work on those albums is underrated.

That said, In Trance is my favourite Scorpions album.

Apocalyptic Love is great, need to get Kill Devil Hill. More excited about the new Hellyeah though--terrific lead single.

Muse is really hit or miss with me. Some of their songs I think are great, others bore me to death.

Let me tell you now, about a friend of mine. He tried to shoot them lights, with whiskey and the wine. He didn't get so far, ah his gun was wrong. Now my sweet friend, where's your song? Shoot out the lights, shoot out the lights.

    Grand Magus - The Hunt

    UFO - Seven Deadly

Malice - New Breed Of Godz

Love Grand Magus, eager to get back to the car and give the new album a spin.

Very excited to discover a new release from my old faves Malice too. Half the album is made up of re-recorded classics with new material interspersed. The major question will be how good the new vocalist is - can't actually imagine it'll be as good as those Priest-like early albums, but I love this band so much I'm willing to take the gamble. Here's hoping!

I have not listened to it yet. Was only 8 bucks, so I thought what the hell. It is my first Iced Earth CD so given your experience I will not judge the whole discography based off this one album. It has a cool cover - reminds me of Iron Maiden!
