I honestly have to give Seventh Star the slight nod despite it really being an Iommi solo album. It's just a slight nod over Born Again which is still awesome! Though I honestly end up laughing at the lyrics to Born Again. In a good way of course. And I like the Seventh Star production over Born Again as well.

Overall, I prefer the atmosphere on Born Again I think. Excellent riffs too, and really heavy despite the guitars being so muffled. Some very silly lyrics on there, but I love Gillan's vocals.

Seventh Star is much better than people in general make out though. A pretty consistent, decent, melodically driven hard rock/metal album, with a handful of genuinely classic tracks.

Not even close: Born Again. Nothing against Seventh Star it is a good album. But Born Again is my favrote Sabbath album without Ozzy or Dio. And I think its even better then Dehuminizer and The Devil You Know. I don't mind the muddy sound either. Fits the dark evil vibe to it.

Born Again, being among my 2-3 favorite albums. Disturbing the Priest and others are hernia heavy guitar playing.

But great stuff by Tony on Star, just not as much or as heavy
