Post Is Reunion, the same as The Last Supper?

Hi everyone, just like to know is The Reunion CD the same as The Last Supper. I know some songs sound the same, especially War Pigs.
But i don't know because there difern't songs and why would they cut out songs like Behind the Wall of Sleep, Spiral Archteit, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Lord of this World and others. Because are really great songs.

    Thanks, please answer.

The reunion album contains different versions of certain songs from the two shows they played at Birmingham NEC on the 4-5 december 1997. the last supper contains songs from different shows they played on the tour, hence why ozzy can be seen shirtless and fully clothed multiple times in the same song. i hope im making sense, im tired

Reunion IS the same as LS. The only difference is that there are some overdubs on the songs, that are quite noticable. (Mostly Ozzy's LET ME FUCKING HEAR YOU.)

Also, only two songs are added that ARE legit. After Forever, and I forget the other one.

Otherwise, every song is just over-lapped with Reunion. It's still a VERY well synced DVD though, so get it. I like it quite a bit. Though I wish I could just rip the interviews out, and just put them together.

I'm certain that Last Supper was filmed in the US and not Birmingham. I was terribly disappointed in it as all the songs are stepped on and I was looking forward to the video of the show I was at. I'm sure it says somewhere on the packaging that it was filmed on multiple nights somewhere other than Birmingham!!
They need to release a DVD with the live show only and the interviews as a special feature! What idiot releases concert footage in this format???

Yes Last Supper was filmed at various locations on tour in 1999 (U.S. I believe). But the audio was all more or less from Reunion - the NEC in Birmingham 1997.

Decent DVD for the interviews, but I prefer watching the boot from the NEC.

Yeah, its the Reunion CD played over a mishmash of footage that has interviews cutting into it all the time.

Fucking stupid is what it is.

Just like Ozzy's Live & Loud DVD. The CD is awesome but the DVD is just a compilation of 3 second shots taken from seemingly every show on the tour and half of them are focused on the audience instead of the band. Its kind of a shame that Live at the Budokan is the only genuine pro-shot Ozzy did you can get nowadays and its with a 14 song set and Ozzy on the downhill.

Jeb Brien is responsible for both the Last Supper and Live & Loud. Don't know what the hell he's on.

Am I the only guy that actually loved The Last Supper? I thought it was great, and I loved the interviews. I do wish they would have shown the whole concert, and had the interviews either at the front or the back of the DVD, but it was a great DVD nonetheless.

    I might be biased ...

But it's because The Last Supper is what introduced me to Black Sabbath, and what ultimately shaped my future and captured my imagination.

    But I love it. Haha

Its alright, but I'd much rather just listen to the Reunion album. They should have filmed the NEC shows and released that on DVD with interviews as a special feature.

I saw Last Supper once, and i hated it.

If it´s a live DVD then let´s see the damn show, not parts of shows between interviews. And i recall the video wan´t running along with the audio (am i right?) wich was the big turn off.

Never bought it. Never bought the Reunion cd either. Ozzy´s voice

I love the Ozzy era, but i wanted Ronnie back (and got it, got to see them last year!!).

I actually think that Ozzy's voice for the Reunion shows was amazingly good, for the most part.

Yeah, I think Ozz is pretty good on Reunion. Not the best he's ever been but he definitely had some of his fire left. I mean, the Budokan DVD was filmed five years after and BOY! Wheres Reunion Ozzy when you need him? And then I saw him 5 years after the Budokan and BOY! Wheres Budokan Ozzy when you need him?
