Do what thou will shall be the whole of the law
born again is one of the best sabbath albums post ozzy
its dark, heavy, all original member exept ian gillian
Born again. I love this song, because it is epic and emotional.
This album is a mixed bag for me because it contains some of my favorite Sabbath songs but also songs I really don't care for at all.
The title track Born Again is my favorite and also one of my favorite songs of all time (not just Sabbath, but any fucking thing!). I like how it melds an epic feel with melancholy. Extremely powerful.
I also love Zero the Hero, Disturbing the Priest and Stonehenge (if it is to be considered a separate track).
If all the tracks on this album had been like those above, this would have possibly been one of the greatest albums of all times, if a very polarizing one.
Unfortunately, the rest of the material is generic rock n' roll. They're cool tracks but they don't push any boundaries.
The song Black Sabbath-Worchester Mass. Live w GILLAN is creaking epic so is Heaven and Hell and Hot Line. If you've never heard that bootleg It's the best. Studio Trashed and Disturbing (when it doesn't scare the people around you) lol
I like the most the song "Born Again".
You and I, Victims of this World, as the Masters of Power try to poison our World.
Greed, Money's taken over their Souls, they're just Mechanical Brains.
Politicians don't know, they just don't!
Know... Know... Know...
Disturbing the Priest. That guitar is incredible. Never could understand the dislike of this album; I think its amazing - Sabbath's doom riffs combined with Gillan's screaming vocals. What's not to like?
Trashed is one of my favorite Gillan performances of all time, and definitely my favorite track from the album. Zero The Hero & The Fallen are close behind.
"From the book, the word is spoken. Whispers from forgotten psalms. Gather all around the young ones. They will make us strong. Reach above your dreams of pleasure
Given life to those who died. Look beyond your own horizons. Sail the ship of signs."
This Album is still a weird one but the tracks are still very good my favourite is either:
Digital Bitch or Disturbing The Priest both equally brilliant in my opinion
The massive title track, "Born Again". Great record!
A very mysterious album in my opinion, the vocals are great! Possibly an acquired taste? I think they fit the music wonderfully, anyways, back on topic. Favorite song? Is it even possible to pick one???
