Some info about Tony Iommi's Book

I was emailed over the weekend by someone who sent me a link to a book on Amazon's UK site, which says it is Tony Iommi's memoirs book. It's been known for some time now that he was working on one. I looked, and it's on the Amazon US site, too. The UK site is listing a release date of October 13, 2011, and the US site is listing a date of November 1, 2011. From what I can gather, those dates are suspect. Read below.

From what I can gather, the book should be all inclusive, although we've had no official word as to contents yet. I'll be QUITE interested to see what level of detail comes from this. Will he address things like Fenholt, Ron Keel, and what really happened with Iron Maiden and the eggs on Ozzfest 2005?

Anyway, today I inquired with Tony's manager about the link at Amazon UK's site. From what he told me, I can pass along these factoids..

1. The title of the book is indeed, "Iron Man: My Life with Black Sabbath and Beyond".
2. The release dates on Amazon's US & UK websites are presumptuous, because...
3. The book has not yet been completed.

So basically, this news is to say that the release date is still "unknown" due to the book not yet having been completed. Once I get some more solid info than this, I'll be sure to pass it along.

Will be great when this comes out, I will buy it right away! I mean Ozzy's biography was interesting for me until 1980, after that I'm not interested in what ozzy was up to haha Iommi's book however will be interesting from start to finish!

The autobiography bandwaggon which has emerged lately (it seemed to occur following the success of Slash, Ozzy and Nikki Sixx's books, anyone wanna correct me? Those 3 came out in quite quick succession, now a ton are on the way) seems mostly to be going rather we..

The last few major ones though - the Steven Tyler, Sammy Hagar and Keith Richards ones seemed aimed at burning bridges. Rather hope Tony doesn't do this to ruin any chances with Ozzy.
