    Default Cross Purposes inverted cross

I've noticed for awhile now that the angel on the Cross Purposes album cover has what appears to be an inverted cross in her hair. Would anybody happen to know if it was meant to be put there or was it just some weird thing that happened?

Imo it doesn't look like an inverted cross at all. It's one straight line of hair and then some sort of half-circle of clothing that crosses the line of hair. Sure you could draw an inverted cross out of it if you ignore the fact that the horizontal line is not horizontal, it is a half-circle. But I most certainly think it wasn't part of the concept at all.
"There in the middle of the circle he stands, searching, seeking, with just one touch of his trembling hand, the answer will be found.
Daylight waits while the old man sings, heaven help me! And then like the rush of a thousand wings, it shines upon the one. And the day has just begun..."

I do see where it does look slightly curved. I actually didn't notice that, the first thing I thought of was the inverted cross. Very interesting.
