I've been in a non-reading mood for a very very long time now. I read things when I feel they might inspire me in my writing of music and/or short stories. At the moment I am working on a school project, a collection of short stories, so I thought I'd read through the story of "Job" in the Bible. Some interesting stuff there, them atheist saying the Bible is made-up crap don't know what they talk about. It might be made up, but it sure ain't crap.

Recently read the Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes autobiographies. I am currently reading the 2012 edition of The Old Farmer's Almanac.

I just started reading Adolphus Huxley's Brave New World. I've got to say that what I have read of it has been pretty enjoyable so far. I generally tend to like more of the science fiction, utopian books, especially those that get quite creative and really send out a message to the reader. I just finished Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm as required readings for class, enjoyed the both of them as well. I need to read some other stuff though I've put on the shelf due to being busy at the moment though. 3 Hemingway novels that I have been meaning to read for the longest time and a couple of Stephen King novels since I enjoyed The Shining. Any fans of some of the stuff I mentioned? I would love to talk about them with anyone!

Bought Iommi's book yesterday and finished it earlier today. Good read but some parts were a bit brief.

Last book I finished was Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Anybody read it? It actually was quite a fun read, I thought.

Yes, It is really entertaining and somewhat informative. Also it is a fast read; you should be able to finish it in a few nights if not just one. I definitely would pick it up if I was you.

On my plate right now are:
"The Game of Thrones" by R.R. Martin
"The Rise and Fall of the Confederate Goverment" by Jefferson Davis
I read alot of history stuff, WWII, american civil war,ancient rome,
Bios of bands, & fiction such as Horror, SCI-FI, & heroic fantasy.
Looking forward to reading Iommi's new book when I can get a copy.

A lil bit old but I figure I'd drop in as I'm about to finish reading Iron Man - Iommi and Interview with a Vampire - Anne Rice.
Also proofiness, some stat book I'm reading for class.
I might try and read aGoT again, as the second time i tried reading it I lost my book halfway through reading it :/ (left it in someones car who drove far away for a few months)

Just finished "Style and Idea" by Arnold Schoenberg and "Compositional Theory in the Eighteenth Century" by Joel Lester. No not for a class, I actually enjoy this stuff!

No I have not read Top 500 Heavy Metal Albums Of All Time but I will get that one next. Thanks for the tip! At the time I also bought a copy of The Collectors Guide to Heavy Metal Vol. 3 The Nineties By Popoff but as they were second hand the CD that goes with it was missing.
