MKI is an abbreviation for Mark I, in otherwords the originl line-up. As soon as Dio replaced Ozzy in it became the Mark II (or MK II) lineup.

Annoying question
i was reading a long thread about Sabbath and it kept mentioning MKI lineup. What is MKI?

"Mark" (or it's abreviation "MK") in this context means version as in version I, version II etc. The origin of using Mark in this context is military so the first version of an aircraft will be the MKI and the first variation would be the MKII, obviously the use has spread beyond the military origins.
