Getting it for Chrimbo. Would have been interesting hearing from his first wife Thelma, I presume she was aproached but don't really know. Would liked to have heard her version of events from the 70's.
Anybody else buy this DVD? Nothing spectacular, but it was really cool to see his brother, all his sisters, his kids from his first wife. Candid, honest, great video overall. Yeah, it had stuff on it on all the other DVDs about Ozzy and Sabbath, but the new stuff more than makes up for the stuff you seen before.

I've had it a couple of weeks or so, but I haven't, and I won't get a chance to watch it before the weekend.
My name is Lucifer please take my hand.
I enjoyed it but was disappointed that it was so short. It started out like it was going to go really in-depth but once they got up to the late 80's they skipped right up to the Osbournes and missed out an entire decade. I wanted to see stuff from his life around the time of No More Tears and in particular Ozzmosis.
The stuff about The Osbournes was really sad and although I never really watched it I don't think I ever could now. Also, seeing Ozzy drive a car was really weird to me for some reason.
i purchased it the day it came out (Blu Ray of course) but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Hopefully soon.

Watched it for the first time last night, and overall I really liked it. There were of course a number of things I knew, but whatever new information I learned was interesting. I never knew certain things about his drug/alcohol abuse. As already mentioned, it's kinda disappointing that they skipped over the 90s, but it was a good documentary and I really enjoyed it. Trippy seeing Ozzy drive at the end, haha.

I liked it for the most part. As mentioned above, lots of old stories, but some new ones that die hards like ourselves will always find interesting. What I didn't really care for was that the whole thing became a Dr. Phil episode at the end, if you know what I mean. I'd like to hear more about his actual life and personality than a bunch of platitudes about sobriety.
First half was great, but dissapointed they totally skipped 1990 onwards, you'd think Ozzy had not released anymore albums after the 80's.
Yeah, I would have loved to have heard that story, too. Always would have loved to have heard her story. Given Jack went after his kids with Thelma, you would think they'd ask her, too. Oh well.
Yeah, I was hoping for some more detail in places. I'd love to see a warts and all history of the Ozzy band, but we'll never get that. I mean, let's get them to do it right - talk to Daisley, Kerslake, & Phil Soussan. Heck, get Don Costa in there, and find out what the frig happened with Joe Holmes. But the story of the band is a different one than Ozzy himself, which is what this was supposed to be about.
If you know someone who is an alcoholic, they're not platitudes. It's what you need to stay sober. I bought that completely.
I'd bloody love for someone to do a story like this on Bill Ward some day. There's so much going on in that man's head, I wonder if a film can cover it all.![]()

Saw it the other day and liked it. It is like a shortversion of the "I Am Ozzy" book but still highly enjoyable.
What's the name of the song playing during the credits (after Crazy Train)? I love it!

I just watched this documentary last night from the television, a decent program. So, Ozzy lived on the Lodge Road near the Birchfield school. I stopped the film on the scene of the house and managed to locate the exact place from Google maps (the fourth chimney in the shade, up from the street bend) it was good fun.
