That last shot cracked me up! Nice review, I agree that Jake E Lee is right up there with the other Ozzy guitarists, I think that maybe because he was the guy during Ozzy's glam phase has "hurt his legacy" or something like that.

This might be my least favorite Ozzy album of the 80s, but I'm not going to go into all of that. I do think the song Bark at the Moon is great though. Funny story, when this album came out one of my older brothers bought it and after I listened to it a few times and decided I didn't like it much, I wrote a letter to Ozzy using an address that was listed on the back cover, asking him to make another album like Speak of the Devil. I was only 8, I guess I thought he would really read the letter. I was really disappointed when all I got back in the mail was an Ozzy merchandise catalog. Yeah I was kind of a dumb ass

Never heard anything off this album except the title track, which they used to start off the Ozzy concert I went to last year, pretty heavy song! I liked some of the tracks on here more than I thought I would, not at all THAT cheesy really, maybe I underestimated Jake E. Lee a bit... Anyway, I won't buy it that's for sure, got way too little cash and way too many better albums to buy ^^. Still a very nice review, of course I still disagree with you on Bob Daisley but I've said that before as well :D Hope you finish off these quickly and continue with the Dio solo material soon, albums that I actually own and worship! Or are you going for something else before that?

Yeah Carmine played more than just the European dates, can't remember exactly when Tommy came back, but the show my dad saw on that tour had Carmine on drums and he was definitely in the U.S. LOL

I love this album and I agree Jake is sooo underated and quite honestly my fav of the Ozzy guitarists. There is some absolutely killer tracks on this album! You should have mentioned the remix in 2002, what I did was get an earlier version and just download the bonus tracks because that remix was bull crap.

Killer Review, great album!!! Fuck all the haters......people that like only one era of Sabbath bore the fuck outa me.That being said I like the Ultimate Sin even more. Jake E Lee was brilliant.

I got the 95 remaster and never bothered with the 2002 version. Had no idea they fucked with it.:/
