Sounds pretty cool man, I did my own version a year or two ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGARF8GK-mc
I like the use of keyboards in yours.
Man... there are LOTS of covers of this great song out there on youtube. 100% were guitar covers. Not anymore!
I kind of liked my version, but I'm a bit out of time on some notes ^^. I slowed it down to 83 BPM (from 90), but I still think it sounds a bit too fast for the delay-drenched atmospheric keyboard sound I use... Anyway, I think it's a cool song to play, it sounds really good on keyboards as well if you ask me.
Lead & intro: Moog Synthesizer
Bass chords: Rhodes Piano
High-pitched "Echoes" rip-off sounding keyboard: Clavinet

Let me know what you think of it! :D

Thanks for listening, glad you liked it! Listening to your version right now, how come you start with the beginning of "Orchid"? Was it a mistake or did you intend it that way? :D Anyway, your playing is great, have you done any other Sabbath instrumentals? The whole of "Orchid" maybe?

Very cool, Enjoyed both Embryo covers! I liked the way you re-invented and made it your own Josef, and the note for note perfection of your version Snow!! Cheers guys.
Are you saying boo, or boo-urns?
Ahhhh mooog i love the sound of moog!
Hehe :D this is why I eventually bought one instead of some other synth that seemed more price-worth on paper. A Moog is not only a synth, it is a Moog damnit! It cannot be underestimated ^^ Glad you liked my cover, I promise songs to come in the first half of 2012 from my band with more Moog in it, probably a Moog solo for example and some Moog bass and effects etc. That is, if things work out with the new singer we have :D

I'm just a beginner
Hi, sorry for not replying to you earlier, I forgot ^^. I listened to your cover, you are good for being only a beginner man, and frankly the song is harder on guitar since you have to play two notes at the same time, on the keyboards I layered three tracks instead, only playing one note at a time on the moog (duh... it's a monophonic synth ^^). Anyway, the strength in my cover lies in the soundscape and tweaking of the effects, not in the technical skill. To play the song on guitar, you need more technical practice, I wish you good luck in further developing your guitar playing, hope you learn more of Tony Iommi's instrumentals, they are great and fun to play, but hard at times ^^
