That would've been weird. Could work, though...
Edit: It MIGHT work was what i should've said. Probably wouldn't...
I love all Sabbath (Ozzy, Dio, Gillan, Hughes, and Martin). The other day while driving down the road AC/DC started playing on the radio and I had this crazy idea that Brian Johnson could do a really good job of performing Ozzy songs.

I don't wanna live forever,
But i don't wanna die.
I may be dreaming, but whatever...
I live inside a lie!
Errrrrrrrrrrrrm...... Naaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
I respectfully disagree. I just don't see it...
Well I don’t want no preacher telling me about the god in the sky
No I don’t want no one to tell me where I’m gonna go when I die
I wanna live my life, I don’t want people telling me what to do
I just believe in myself, ’cause no one else is true
To be a little more specific, I was talking about his voice. I think he would do a pretty decent job singing "Ozzy only" songs. I don't think he could pull off doing anything from Dio, Gillan, or Martin. Just thinking of different singers that have that Ozzy style of voice.

Brain Johnson is a great singer without a doubt, but he doesn't have that dark effect within his voice range to sing those certain Sabbath songs that require it.
Are we forgetting "What's Next to the Moon" "Razor's Edge" and some others? Razor's Edge is practically heavy metal. What's Next to the Moon is a pretty dark song in and of itself.
The only person that I feel could do the Ozzy era justice is Billy Corigan. Listen to the track Black Oblivian on the Iommi solo CD for reference. IMO, that song sounds like a Black Sabbath song, and I feel he could pull off the old Ozzy songs, especailly the tracks where Ozzy voice is in the higher range.
"I can honestly say it’s truly been an honor to play at his side for all these years, his music will live on forever." ~ Tony Iommi (Speaking of Ronnie James Dio)
