Question Neon Knights DVD - Bootleg or official?

At my local Wal-Mart they are selling a DVD of Black Sabbath with Tony Martin called Neon Knights or Nights. I was just wondering if anyone here was familiar with this is; is it- some cheap bootleg- or a official release? Is it worth getting either way? It is 18$ so it is a bit pricey - if it's some crappy recording.

...no it is not Heaven & Hell. It says 95 or 97 and has a picture of Tony Iommi on the front and Tony Martin with the band on the back!

I've never heard of such a release. I would guess bootleg though. I'd like to know about that myself now. Could you post a couple of pictures? I'm also jealous because if that DVD was at my Walmart, I wouldn't have left without it haha.

I have never heard of it before either?! You are right - probably a bootleg (I'M just wondering if it is a shitty one). I know I should have picked it up but with all the CDs I have been buying lately I am a little broke at the moment. I cannot find a picture for it online yet but I will keep looking,

This sounds like a version of Cross Purposes Live. There are some unofficial versions of it floating around with different names. If that's indeed what it is the quality should be pretty good.

I am going over there today to check the track listing - if this is possibly Cross Purposes Live as you say I really would like to have it. That would be awesome if it was! Thanks for the info -V- Cheers!

...well it is gone!!!! Now though there is another one called Children Of The Sea Live in Brazil 94 - with Tony Martin on it again! This one is 45 minutes long and is definitely not Cross Purposes Live. I am going to pick it up once I get my Tax return due in a few days. I should have picked up Neon Knights or Nights when it was there dammit. That is two boots of Martin's that I have seen in a week and at the same place. If only I had not bought all those CDs on my CC I would be able to pick it up now. I have it on hold so it should be there.

Anyone browsing this thread have Brazil 94 - is it good quality?

Yeah, that would be the one that has Bill Ward on drums, it would be Sao Paulo and it's pretty good quality, worth picking up for sure

^...thanks Pink Led Rush. I will definitely pick it up now, especially if it has Bill Ward on drums- never knew that he played with Tony Martin!

Thanks for the info! I went and checked this sites records of the 94 tour, and I must say it is very strange to see 3/4 of the originals (with Geoff) and Tony Martin. Very cool pics.

On a side note I love your current Avatar - I just bought that album and it is superb.

Yes it is, great live album, possibly my fav. It has been a while since I changed it, but I haven't been able to, there's something weird going on when I go to change avatars and it doesn't work haha

It took me awhile to get to watch it but it is excellent sound and production...definitely worth picking up for any Black Sabbath/Tony Martin fan.
