Default ANy news on California Jam footage?

I remember that sometime ago, there was a rumour that 'a copy' of the original California Jam footage (including the FULL Sab set)would exist somewhere, while the original would have been overridden (in a 60-70's typical manner)?
    any news on that anyone??

    Thanks!

Yep. I know. It was filmed, but the original tapes were destroyed. Still somebody supposedly had a copy.

Tommy Aldridge was the one that used to talk all that shit about Sabbath. Saying that they were a terrible live act.

Cool I guess he said that a couple of times at that period. After all, he did scream cocaine! in Snowblind.

It's funny this thread was started. Some fun facts, The footage used for ABC Networks In Concert is were we get the 4 in color clips and Ozzy interview. Mexican tv showed the festival on tv in the early 1990's. I'm working on a full page report of the festival
