RIP Levon Helm - the drummer / singer from the Band - I always loved his voice & still think the LP Music from Big Pink is a must own - wasn't sure how many other fans would be on the board but here are a few of my favorite songs

It's a shame to see another rock legend passing, will be listening to The Band these next couple days.

It is sad to see someone who sings and writes as well as him pass away. The Band is an all time great bbut under appreaciated group. I have a few od their CD's and wished they could have got back together for one more tour.
