Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" for Xmas Number 1 2012

Hi fellow Sabbath fans! A few months ago I created this campaign to get "Paranoid" to Number 1 this Christmas. I thought some of you guys might be interested.

Too many people only know Sabbath for Paranoid, Iron Man, and War Pigs. You know what would be cool? Make something like "Junior's Eyes' or 'Symptom of the Universe' number one. Something less famous. I know that would never happen, but still.

The Background to this ... if you're not in the UK! The reasoning behind this is to get someone other than the 2012 UK X-Factor winner to the UK number one spot over Christmas. The X-Factor winners had dominated the Christams number one spot for several years prior to the campaign of 2010 which got the Rage Against The Machine song to #1. 2011 it was the Military Wives Choir which managed to prevent the X-Factor winner getting there.

So now you know the background, you will see that there is no point for the campaign to try and push a song that nobody's heard of, the campaign has ulterior motives than just popularising an old song by Black Sabbath, they need a song which is already popular with the masses. Don't forget it will probably have to sell 500,000 copies in the christmas week alone to get to number one and that may not be enough.
