waited in line since 5.30 am in the pissin down rain and told there was a chance i wouldnt get a ticket as they only had a hundred at the box office which i thought was bollocks so i waited and luckily got a ticket at 10.30! loads of people still there who aint got a chance of getting a ticket. its been a joke from the get go with tickets on ebay before the general sale had even started.

This is my first post, but i've been an avid reader of the forums for some time now...hopefully i wont say the wrong thing or back myself look a complete fool!

Totally agree with the above, although i got in the queue slightly later at just after 7 am. Tickets have a face value of £45 (approx $68), but only 5 minutes after the pre-sale started yesterday i saw tickets being advertised by touts/agencies at more than 10 times the face value...when most genuine fans were being told after 5 minsutes that the pre-sale had sold out??!! The on line allocation for the general sale sold out in less than 10 minutes (not surprising of course), but i couldn't even get any on line at 9am when the sale started. Although i've got a ticket and feel extremely lucky, i think it's shocking that this srot of thing goes on! Sorry...rant over. I've got a photo of the ticket on my computer, but i haven't yet figured out how to add it to my post...if anyone would like to see the picture can you let me know how to upload a picture to a post and i'll publish it. Can't wait to surprise my dad with his ticket as he thinks i didn't manage to get tickets ;-)

I know tis frustrating but its common practise for big gigs like this and its hardly bands fault.
ticketmaster and the big ticket companys should be boycotted for their underhanded professional touting and ebay should be forced to uphold the rule that tickets cant be sold for more then 10percent of the face value, but money talks.

I'm not saying it's the band's fault by any stretch, but i do think promoters could influence this slightly. I agree with what you said about the other things

Can't wait for the 19th!!
