after forever has some deep meaning "oh you jeer that's all you hear yes i think its too late"
under the sun another i love , killing yourself to live another one i dig.
i have to many to say, what are yours? from Black sabbath to sabotage, what is your top lyrics?
"but will your turn to me when its your turn to die?"-Lord of this world.
"Im getting closet to the end of the line, and living easy where the sun does not shine"-Hole In The Sky.
"Some People say, My love cannot be true" N.I.B.
after forever has some deep meaning "oh you jeer that's all you hear yes i think its too late"
under the sun another i love , killing yourself to live another one i dig.
Sometimes i like to alter a few things to make them more personal, like: "I would like to see the pope on the end of a rope, cause i think he's a fool". After all, i'm a true christian
The rest of the lyrics for After Forever i can stand for. Also i love Lord Of This World and Sweet Leaf. As for the other albums i'd have to think about it a bit, maybe have a listen-trough.
Oh, yes. I actually like the alternative lyrics for Paranoid, Ozzy's improvised lyrics available on the extra-material on the deluxe-edition. I think they're cute.
AAAAhahhahahhahhahaahhahhahahahha!!!!!!! (pointing)
" All we are saying is let's eat some brains" John Lennon 2008
We already has this thread
Sleeping Village-Soft breeze blowing in the trees, peace of mind, feel at ease.
Electric Funeral (I'm a funeral director/embalmer) Buring glow of obscene fire, like electric funeral pyre.
Children of the Grave-They'll fight the world until they've won and love comes flowing through, yeah!
Tomorrow's Dream-When sadness fills my days, it's time to turn away. And then tomorrow's dreams become reality to me.
Looking for Today-Cause your only looking for today. (that's me, I'm the grasshopper and not the ant)
The Writ-see my signature thing at the bottom
Rock 'n' Roll Doctor-I gotta see him, see him today, he's gonna blow me away.
A Hard Road-there are a few great lines in this song: Life becomes the singer and the song, sing along; Why make the hard road?
Why can't we be friends? No need to hurry, we'll meet in the end; Nightime falling victim to the dawn, shadows mourn (shadows mourn-fucking brilliantly abstract); Forget all your sorrow, don't live in the past and look to the future `cause life goes to fast, you know
Xtra-Psyco Man-The lust of Death's possession will overtake his psycho mind
Selling My Soul-My mind feels heavy, my body feels weak (aint that the truth!!)
~Chris
"Too many people advising me, but they don't know what my eyes see." ~ The Writ
Witches gathered in Black Masses
Bodies burning in red ashes
On the hill the church in ruins
Is the scene of evil doings
It's a place for all black sinners
Watch them eating dead rats' innards
-Walpurgis
To safeguard my philosophy until my dying breath
I transfer from reality into a living dead
I empathize with enemies until we’re dying right
With God and Satan at my side, from darkness will come light
my top 3 lyric lines from the first 6 would be (in order):
Planet Caravan - "While down below the trees, bathed in cool breeze, silver starlight, breaks dawn from night"
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - "Nobody will ever let you know, when you ask the reasons why, they just tell you that you're on your own, fill your head all full of lies! (YOU BASTARDS :D)"
Under the Sun - "Don't let those empty people try and interfere with your mind, just live your life and leave them all behind"
Apart from "Planet Caravan", these aren't really that poetic lyrics but I think they make their point in a very artistic way nevertheless. Man I just love Geezer's lyrics, even though all Sabbath albums had good lyrics on them really.
"There in the middle of the circle he stands, searching, seeking, with just one touch of his trembling hand, the answer will be found.
Daylight waits while the old man sings, heaven help me! And then like the rush of a thousand wings, it shines upon the one. And the day has just begun..." (1975)
-Ronnie James Dio, Rest in Peace
"In the summer days we flew to the sun, on melting wings, but the seasons changed to fast, leave us all behind... Blind..." (1969)
- Jon Lord, Rest in Peace

As a kid I remember being struck by
"Won’t you help me Mr. Jesus
Won’t you tell me if you can
When you see this world we live in
Do you still believe in Man?"
It seemed so odd to me at that age, yet I still understood it.
I also love
"Just remember love is life
And hate is living death
Treat your life for what it’s worth
And live for every breath
Looking back I’ve lived and learned
But now I’m wondering
Here I wait and only guess
What this next life will bring"
I dont think you can beat VOL4 & SBS for lyrics, Geezer was at the top of his game. It was like they're phylosophy towars life UNDER THE SUN, A NATIONAL ARCOBAT, SPIRAL ARCHITEK, you can't beat it. WAR PIGS is another great lyrical statement. I'm hoping we hear some Sabbath theology phylosophy on the new one.
