Default So who will the drummer be??

Please vote and no Ozzy/Sharon/Gloria/Geezer/Tony/Bill bashing!

I went with Bordin b/c he played the second time I saw the "reunited" Sabbath in 1997.

Bill is obviously out, so I voted Vinny - the only one who would deserve to be there with the rest of Black Sabbath.

Personally, I think it's quite obvious who it will be...Tommy Clufetos. Think about it, he's already played a bunch of the Sabbath 'hits' on the recent Ozzy tour, so that's a quick obvious choice for the band. And all the Sabbath songs that Ozzy played last year are most likely going to be what makes up the setlist for tomorrow and the other two days. Not a fan of Tommy at all, but sadly that's who it'll be.

Gotta admit, there's a lot of merit to that argument!

Whomever the drummer is for the Ozzy & friends tour would be the most likely candidate and makes the most sense.

I voted Other b/c the only one that could fill Ward's sticks is Keith Moon but he's dead. Maybe Sabbath will use a hologram of Bill. Some of you would say Bonham and rightfully so.

I agree completely that those are the only two that fully could fill Bills sticks. Coincidentally those are also my three favorite drummers...

Whoever the drummer is, force him to play like Bill!

I voted Tommy Clufetos because I think that's who it will be, and also because out of the drummers listed, I think he's the best replacement in terms of playing style. If I were to vote for who deserves to be the drummer, it would be Bill of course. I'm honestly not a big fan of the way Bevan plays the old Sabbath songs, or Vinny.

Blacksabbath.com will probably photoshop Clufetos into the old pictures too, trying to sell it to the young and unknowing Twitter generation.

    They'd probably believe it too.

You know who would be cool to see as a replacement? Henry Vasquez, the current drummer from Saint Vitus. I think he'd do good.

Animal, from Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem, would be an optimal choice.
    Or Phil Collins.

Still holding a candle for Bill in the long run. I think it will be Clufetos, he was great on Ozzy's tour and is a very good drummer . I would prefer Bordin, as FNM is one of my favorite bands and he is a lot like Bill to me, a more non traditional eclectic drummer.

It should be Bill, at least for these 3 fucking shows and the album. The actual tour in 2013, if we'll ever even see it (considering Tony's health), is another story. They should at least do the beginning of this reunion right, just these 3 opening shows and then the album, WITH BILL.

I thought about voting for Mike Boring (sorry, Bordin) but I don't wanna be so negative. There IS a chance that they bring in Bev Bevan, even though it's like 0,2% :D So yeah, I voted for him, apart from Cozy he's the only drummer that has played a drum solo I still enjoy after hearing it more than three times.

I'm guessing it's gonna be Clufetos. Not my preference but it seems to be the obvious choice.

Tommy is a great drummer. He impressed me when he was playing with Ted Nugent. 10 years later, I'm not surprised that he's got bigger gigs going on with him. He did an admirable job at the O2 gig. Wasn't perfect on every song he might but who can anyway? Even Bill Ward himself can't play the same way anymore. His best days are long, long behind him. I dare you to find any drummer who can nail 'Under the sun' or 'Wheels of confusion' with as much authenticity as Tommy did.

Gotta add that making fun of his last name is extremely silly and childish.
