    Default Seriously...

    wtf is this shit

    http://www.blacksabbath.com/discography.html

That website is a joke, thank God (or maybe more fitting, thank Joe) that we got this site which is actually about BLACK SABBATH and is all about getting the facts straight. I mean yeah sure the Ozzy era is the most relevant era at the moment since Dio is dead and any other reunion most unlikely but still, this is taking things WAY too far. Blacksabbath.com is nowhere near an official site for me, it's just plain rubbish. I'll stick to this site and hope that the "official" one dies soon enough.

That fucking site is the epitome of corporate fecal matter. Editing old band photos, taking away albums from the discography without even stating that those albums are exclusively from the Ozzy era...disrespecting diarrhea if you ask me.

Thank God and Joe for this site which has the up-to-speed news and facts, the good general vibe (this is the most important site for me, for many reasons), the varied content and the many great people that keep participating.

This site IS official as far as I'm concerned. Joe gets his facts directly from Sabbath, he makes sure everything is accurate-this is one of, if not THE, most extensive and detailed 'fan' sites I've ever found. I get almost all my Sabbath info straight from here.

Ahahahhah! What a fuckin' joke that site.

Doesn't matter...there is only one Black Sabbath site on the web for me and I'm on it right now.

That Don Kirshner Rock Concert-clip on the multimedia-part is cool though...

Copied from the site's history.page: "Several of Black Sabbath’s post-Osbourne albums - especially Heaven and Hell (1980), Mob Rules (1981) and Headless Cross (1989) - are highly regarded by hardcore fans." So they do mention a tiny little bit about post-Ozzy

I have no problem with the site only being dedicated to the "reunion", but then it's no longer an official Black Sabbath website. They shouldn't be able to create a list called "Black Sabbat discography" and not include all Black Sabbath albums, if they call it "Original line-up discography" or something like that and not include the other albums that's ok for me, again they're obviously not having an official site. Either they must show clearly that the site is ONLY dedicated to the current line-up, or they should start behaving like they care about the fans, if nothing else just for show.

I will protest against this in my own non-effective way :D This friday I will wear my Headless Cross t-shirt on the Ozzy & Friends show. That album is more Sabbath than the show will ever get, and I guess this is my only way of saying that ^^

As i said; i consider this to be the most "official" site, and the whole story must be told.
But you're right, they could've called it the official original line-up site or the official reunion site or something...

That one i can't agree with you on. This show'll have two Sabbath-members, Headless Cross only had one. (But you know my stand on that issue...)
But it's good that you're protesting in your own way. I myself are going to wear that Sabbath-shirt i made from that pic mikesline made, with the original line-up. Not to protest in any way, but just because i want to wear it.

Yeah the "official" website is a sad, poor excuse for a Sabbath site. It's just unnecessary for us though. We have Joe's site and it's all we need. Thank you for not being official Joe!

When/if I see Sabbath, I'll be wearing my Dehumanizer tee. It's actually the only Sabbath tee I wear at the moment-I also have a Cross Purposes one, but I accidently ordered it too small, so i'm going to cut out the design and sew it on the back of my kutte.

This discography is dead on accurate.

    So is this one: http://heavenandhelllive.com/?page_id=64

The rest of it was just a collective bad dream we all had.... well okay maybe not. But I can dream it was a bad dream...

I made a Dehumanizer Shirt a year ago. Blue shirt with cover on front, back with black and blue pic of the band from the back cover of the cd. It had the text May 5th, 2007. This year I was inspired by the Avengers movie and made this.

But hey, as for the site, just pretend it doesn't exist, just like how people pretend the rest of the eras didn't exist.
Let me tell you now, about a friend of mine. He tried to shoot them lights, with whiskey and the wine. He didn't get so far, ah his gun was wrong. Now my sweet friend, where's your song? Shoot out the lights, shoot out the lights.

Sabbathman I don't say it much, but I enjoy reading your posts and respect your attitude. Unashamed supporter of Metal, rarely a bad word for anyone (except shitty sites that deserve it anyway ) and generally all round positive outlook. I rarely comment on your posts, but I very often find myself nodding in agreement. Just thought I'd share the thought for once!

Official site is the rundown on the current band and happenings, This site is a rundown of generial band knowledge of all eras, my site is a rundown on footage, audios, photos, etc. Each serve in different purposes. All with stuff for everyone. Not to forget ozzyhead.com. I dont think any band has as many fans spending time and energy in sharing their knowledge with other fans.
And the Dio website pretty much just focusted on the current Dio line up happings. Didnt spend much time looking and former line ups.

    Rarely visit that site.

If anyone dare to shut down Joe's site I'll surely bang their heads with a SG guitar.(Impossible to happen isn't it lol?)

... and that's why I don't consider it an official site. It doesn't "focus" on the current events of the band, it almost completely acts as if 15 years of the bands history never happened. That's ok if it's the official site for the Ozzy era or the Ozzy era reunion, NOT for a supposed official site for the band. That's my opinion at least :D
