Wow, yeah this album is kinda meh for me too. Kinda had forgotten about it to say the least just not a whole lot of memorable stuff on it. Quality review as always though.

Great review as always Dr. Fukk! I gotta say man, after watching your video I feel like listening to Down to Earth again. I didn't really like it after first listening to it either.

I got this album as a christmas-present at a time i was really getting bored of metal and was expanding to other music, but the songs that stuck with me was actually Junkie, i thought that was killer, and ofcourse Gets Me Through.

I got the impression the good DR. is somewhat finishing up his Sabbath-related reviews? I really hope you do Iommi's (atleast the first) and Geezer's solo-stuff before you call it a day...

Great reviews man. Get Bill Ward on the studio album? True dat.
Let me tell you now, about a friend of mine. He tried to shoot them lights, with whiskey and the wine. He didn't get so far, ah his gun was wrong. Now my sweet friend, where's your song? Shoot out the lights, shoot out the lights.

I still say this is one of the most under rated Ozzy albums ever. There is some filler on it. But 7 of the albums 11 tracks are solid. Some of Zakk's best lead work with Ozzy is on this album. He was upset with the producer. And he channeled all his fury into the leads.

Some of the opinions on this one I agree with the Dr. I'm glad he's changed his knee jerk negative opinion of it, all these years later. I think too many people wrote it off before really getting into it back in 2001.

I agree. I think it was underrated by everyone, myself included at the time. It's is much Much better than Ozzmosis.

I am not done. I will get around to the Iommi, GZR and Bill. Plus Dio and Rainbow. Its just been pretty hard doing the past 2 and I'm not really looking forward to the next episode. I want to open another channel and just do albums I love and no more discographies.

Again, I cant thank you all enough for watching my reviews.

As much as I tried I could not get passed the honkey tonk piano on those Elf albums. I love the song "Nevermore" off the first album. If their music was more like that I would have reviewed them.
