The only images i've got from that era are in my head after seeing him live at Lerkendal Stadium in Trondheim on the Black Rain-tour, and even they are somewhat blurry... But i can tell you one fun-fact: in the middle of the show he came out onstage with a viking-helmet, a false beard (after all, it was in Norway), and a Rosenborg-shirt (Rosenborg is the local football-team which who's stadium he was playing). Tried to find pics of it, there was one with only the shirt, but it wouldn't come up in full size because it was from a private log-in site...

Looking forward to the Maiden-reviews though, as the Di'Anno-albums are the only Maiden-albums worth shit...

... and here we go again :D Just out of curiosity, are there any bands you like in their second/third era?

First one that comes to mind are Pink Floyd, who i like in the first (Barret) era, second (experimental) era, and third (meddle - animals) era. (OK, there's still a few tunes of The Wall i really enjoy)
Another one is King Crimson, which i like from '69 till '74, which one could consider three eras just there...
Mayhem i like the first era (Deathcrush), second era with Dead, third era with Mysteriis/Atilla, and.... ehh what number should we call the new Ordo Ad Chao-era? 5th or 6th?

There's probably alot more too that doesn't come to mind right now, as it's 10 o'clock on a Saturday, if you catch my drift...
Probably some i don't like the first, but later eras of too.

I understand i might seem like a first era-only guy, but it's not like that at all. I just like good music, and i'm very outspoken about it... And most bands have their purest energy in their earliest periods. As for Maiden, it was Dickinson's vocals that ruined it all for me (much like with Sabbath and Dio).

Edit: Ofcourse, one band i prefer later eras of (though i don't hate the first eras either) are Beatles. They became what i consider the great band they were with Rubber Soul.

Funny you mention Dianno-Era Maiden, Billy. I took to work today The Early years DVD to refresh my memory of the story behind the first two albums. Plan on making a review for each.
I have no problem with the first 3 Bruce albums with Maiden, but the Dianno-era is by far my favorite Maiden. It will be up in 2 weeks. This week I am putting up a review for one of my favorite Thrash bands, Vio-Lence. I'm a HUGE Beatles fan, all era's. My favorite album is "Rubber Soul".

EDTRADER - Look forward to your PM

Vio-Lence is one of the bands i still really haven't got around to check out (too much music, so little time), but your review might give me a chance to delve a bit into them too.

Good choice... one of the best thrash bands easily...
