Exclamation Jack Osbourne Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis

    http://goo.gl/mLvDN

If anyone might have wondered why Ozzy sung great in Birmingham, but didn't have the greatest performance at the Download Festival.

This kind of news to get for anyone's child is hard to take. Especially with Jack just having a baby a few weeks ago.

A good reason for him to start smoking pot again. One of the biggest arguments for the legalization of canabis for medical use is it's ability to curb the symptoms of MS.

(This is not just another canabis-glorification from me, it's a fact. Read up on it.)

For a former addict that is a horrible thing to say. I bet Jack's having a hard enough time already, falling off the wagon wouldn't help the situation at all. First a sniff of pot then a line of coke and that's it...nope. That's never the way.

But all in all bad news...MS is a horrible illness. I wish him (and his family) all the strength.

I'm not going to go into a full rant here now, but that whole "pot leads to heroin"-myth is just bullshit. Been smoking for 11 years, never felt "addicted" or any need in any way. Alcohol, on the other hand, have been a devilish companion for the last 5-6 years.

I repeat: One of the biggest arguments for the legalization of canabis for medical use is it's ability to curb the symptoms of MS.

It's a horrible disease, a friend of mine who had great outlooks and possibilities in her life had it all ruined because of it. And sadly, because of an irrelevant prohibition, she won't turn to a medication which is proved to have helped alot of others with MS. Once again, read up on it.

So you're not an addict. Jack is. There is a huuuuuuuuge difference... I wasn't talking about it being a gateway drug or not.

And again I wasn't trying to get into a debate about drugs...just that for an addict the only way is to stay 100% clean...or you will relapse. Simple as that.

There's something called self discipline. I'm addicted to alcohol, but i can still enjoy a few beers now and then without falling off the wagon.

But let's just agree to disagree. I just want the best for Jack's health, and so do you, i guess...

I smoked pot every day for years and have held down a professional job. I am a functioning drug addict. I have no self control. I do everything to excess. I consider myself an addict. If I'm awake-I need to be high, higher than outer space. I then started doing coke and meth and loved every minute of it. I spent all of my money, if it weren't for that I'd still be doing all of it. I just turned 40 and wanted to get physically and mentally healthy. I'm off everything now and paying off my debts so I can afford to start back playing golf. Everyone is different. Obviously pot should be medically legal and it is in places. I love the people who have a script for bullshit like "my arm hurts" etc. They don't medically need it. Want to go to Amsterdam and try an AK47 and all the strongest strands. Have fun and do what you want to in life because you will die and why have regrets. I just fucking hate burying people that have been killed by drunk drivers, stoned/fucked up people who don't know how to handle their shit, it's sad and makes me mad. What a waste. Never got to try heroin, really wanted to.

Sorry to hear that Jack has MS Ihope he gets good treatment (no not smoking a joint) & if it's caught early enough it can be manageable

@Ron Paul - as far as I know there is no cure for the disease just different way to manage or mask the symptoms but the disease itself is still there & active - I wish there was a cure - for the past 10 years I have been riding in the MS150 (this is a 150 mile bicycle ride over 2 days to raise funds for the National MS Society to fund research & aid MS patients) & I would love to stop riding it because a cure was found.

If anyone is interested in the National MS Society & the Bike Ride (they have these all over) here is the website for the Dallas Ride - plenty of time to prepare for next year's ride - http://biketxh.nationalmssociety.org...al&fr_id=18029

Edit - added the MS 150 website

He's an Osbourne, I fell more sorry for the MS than Jack. One time Aids jumped on Ozzy, and Ozzy just slapped it off.
Case and point, Iommi had cancer, Ozzy visited him, now cancer gone.

Ok, I know some of that is joking, but did Ozzy really have aids at one point? And Iommi no longer has cancer?
