many thanx for sharing ! A big moment .
EPIC!
Nice! Wish they would have focused on Iommi a bit more during solo though.
Seconded. He screwed up royally on "I need someone to show me the things in life....space.... that I can't find. I can't see the things that make... (indistinct) I must be blind."
But in the video it sounds great, and that's just an obvious example for anyone who thinks that they didn't touch it.
I loved the show how it was, it didn't need to be cut and pasted like a studio album to be good! Video footage definitely lives up to the term "pro shot" though, very nice.
How was I to know it was "kiss the world with winter flowers"?
I like how this was done. Hopefully this will get an official release.
Ozzy redoing vocals on a live preformance? Wow! Haha!
Seriously though the footage is great, but the redubbed vocals do stand out like a green elephant in a room full of mice!

Wow! Brilliant performance! The band sounded great! Kudos to Oz who sounded absolutly brilliant...God bless you all indeed!
If they release the full video the will need to dub the Vol 4 studio vocals on Wheels Of Confusion!
Sounds alright I suppose, Iommi and Geezer sound amazing for sure. I still say they need to ditch that drummer though.

First off, thanks to the OP for posting this up, the footage does look great, and sounds great as well.
Personally, I don't care what they did or didn't do to Ozzy's vocal, thats not what bugs me about that video.
What bugs me is the hyperactive edits. Whats wrong with keeping the camera on the players and singer for a bit?
Did the video guy get paid by the cut? sheesh.
Anyway, just to note, 143 edits on a song lasting about 3:30.
The 1970 "Paris" video, there were 33 cuts over 2:42.
Yeah, I know less cameras, etc, etc. But I hope if they do put this thing out one day, whoever is editing it will be a bit more lighter-handed with the editing. Its brutal in this video, imo.
That's what I thought too, I guess they figure that this ADD/ADHD generation needs those hyperactive edits to keep them from getting bored or something. (Maybe the editor has ADHD!)
As for Clufetos, I'm liking him and his drumming more and more, I think he's a better fit than Vinny or Bobby (Which, for me is saying a lot).
Don't get me wrong, I think the perfect scenario would be Bill behind the kit. I just think that Tommy is an excellent 2nd choice.

Are you saying boo, or boo-urns?
I noticed that editing thing too...very annoying. Also very different from the two brilliantly edited shows we got from Heaven & Hell...let's just hope that it won't be that hectic for the dvd!
What I find really stupid about Clufetos is the fact that he bangs the drums like he's using a sledge hammer! Raising his hands really high and then banging them loud...loudness isn't everything when it comes to drumming, somebody should tell him that! Not only is it stupid looking its also rather slow. Which effects the dynamics. I do not understand it at all...

This is awesome! Hoping for a Blu-ray release in the future.

I am the biggest Ward fan on these forums, I guarantee it. The man introduced me to my favorite style of drumming I've seen, and changed my life forever.
But Clufetos was pounding this kit like something out of John Bonham here ... he had a lot of energy and fire behind the kit, and that impresses me. Hopefully the other songs sound like this, with his drumming.

Glad to see some more Clufetos support. He may lack the finesse of Bill Ward, but he's far from a bad drummer, and makes up for his shortcomings with a ton of energy and enthusiasm.

1. Don't like Clufetos, and it has nothing to do with "pounding."
2. Hating Ozzy's seemingly-permanent change of the melody.
Humbug,

Camerawork isn't astounding but I'm still looking forward to Blu-ray/DVD release. Not sure if the show was shot with HD cameras though.
I don't understand the complacency with overdubbing Ozzy's voice. To me a good video of a concert makes it as close to really being there as possible. Some of the singing in that video did not happen that night. I would much rather hear it for what it was then listen to something that never even happened. I know that Ozzy has done this before, it's no surprise, especially with how he sounds now at times, but I just don't see the appeal of watching this video unless you just tune him out entirely and watch the pretty visuals.
Unfortunately the overdubbing will always sell better unless everyone were to stand up and say they'd had enough, but we can't even do that on important issues let alone a small thing like this.

Tommy Clufetos is a great drummer. He has received way too much criticism(more like down right bashing) for being himself and not a clone of Bill Ward, aged 21. He didn't exactly do everything I wanted to hear from those classic songs. But no one's will be able to pull that off, including Bill Ward himself of today. Tommy kept the solid beat, put hell a lot of youthful energy and gave some stellar performance on rare songs like 'Wheels' and 'Under the Sun'. That's pretty much everything I can realistically ask for and I hope to see pro shot footage of those soon. The guy gets it done and there's a reason why his gig is getting bigger year by year.

Tommy's a great drummer - no doubt about it. Nobody can deny that he gave a strong performance - he keeps time brilliantly, is a good showman, has lots of youthful energy - he has it all!
So what's the problem?
Well, here's my perspective on this...
They could also get a younger guitar player - who could give a stellar performance, with lots of energy and ability - but he wouldn't be Tony.
Or they could go with a younger bass player - and get some remarkable bass playing - but he wouldn't be Geezer.
And they could get some hotshot young singer who could sing circles around Ozzy - but he wouldn't be Ozzy.
Tommy Clufetos is great - but he's not Bill.
I'm hoping this helps some who are losing patience with us "original lineup purists" to see things through our eyes - if even a little bit.
