If you check the album discography, it is highlighted below where it says OZZY.
I've always noticed this when I picked up my copy of the Mob Rules.
At the bottom right corner, there appears to be some hidden text, but I can't make out what it reads.
Anyone else noticed this?

-Too many flames, with too much to burn, and life's only made of paper. Oh how I need to be free of this pain but it goes over and over and over again-
"The consequence of conscience/Is that you'll be left somewhere/Swinging in the air"-Ronnie James Dio (1942-2010) R.I.P. King Of Metal
"Just take a look around you what do you see/Pain, suffering, and misery/It's not the way that the world was planned/It's a pity you don't understand" - Geezer Butler
"If god is in heaven/How can this happen here" - Phil Lynott (1949-1986)

Paul is dead.
So Sgt. Pepper took you by surprise
You better see right through that mother's eyes
Those freaks was right when they said you was dead
The one mistake you made was in your head
Ah, how do you sleep?
Ah, how do you sleep at night?
You live with straights who tell you you was king
Jump when your momma tell you anything
The only thing you done was yesterday
And since you're gone you're just another day
Ah, how do you sleep?
Ah, how do you sleep at night?

As for on topic; i really think this "kill Ozzy"-thing is all fan-imagination. What has been confirmed (atleast between the lines) however, is that the demon baby on the Born Again-cover was named Aimee, and the Digital Bitch is Sharon.
AAAWWHHHHH, SOME FUCKERS JUST....!!!!!
Ian once explained that Digital Bitch was actually something in the vain of Woman From Tokyo...(Black Sabbath Story dvd?) I doubt it had much to do with Sharon...as far as I know Ian wasn't ever really involved with that particular bitch...
-Too many flames, with too much to burn, and life's only made of paper. Oh how I need to be free of this pain but it goes over and over and over again-
I'm paraphrasing here, but i remember him saying something in the lines of "Digital Bitch is about a girl with a rich father, but they had nothing to do with computers". Interpret that the way you want to, but i see it as a clear stab against Sharon.
His involvement with that particular bitch was ofcourse that Don Arden was Sabbaths manager at the time, and this was the time where Don and Sharons relationship really began to sour.
I know i've seen footage of an interview where this statement is made, tried to find it on youtube, but couldn't find it. But i have a gut feeling that it might come from the Rock & Roll Family Trees-series.
I think it also might have been mentioned, along with the demon baby, in Sharpe-Young's Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
But ofcourse, a lyric can (and mostly do) have several meanings, so there might be some Woman From Tokyo-stuff blended in there too.
IF the bitch refers to Sharon, i imagine Arden was the one to push that one trough...
AAAWWHHHHH, SOME FUCKERS JUST....!!!!!
It surely can be possible that there was some sort of a Sharon connection as well... Ian wrote very open for interpretation type of lyrics as well so there can actually be several meanings.
I do wonder if Ian really had any involvement with Sharon...actually why would he? Just because Don was managing Sabbath doesn't mean that Sharon would have been involved in any way, or that she would even come up in conversation...well...who knows...

That's why i'm guessing it was more of a Arden, or possibly Butler/Iommi-idea. Though Gillan wrote the lyrics, i'm sure he got some ideas from the others.
Though Gillan had nothing to do with Sharon, there was a feud between the Sabbath and Osbourne-camps, and in that situation Gillan was surely part of the Sabbath-camp.
Ofcourse, these are things noone but themselves know the truth to, but adding the different things said about it, my guess is somewhere along these lines. But, as you say; who knows...
AAAWWHHHHH, SOME FUCKERS JUST....!!!!!
When looking at a zoomed in image of the cover it does look like it says 'Ozzy' but I am not sure about 'Kill Ozzy'
Always when i look Mob Rules cover I see a devil-figure on that canvas at the middle of the picture (red color).

Each time I lok at the Mob rules cover I see a bunch of dark looking hooded figures without faces, surrounding a strange structure that sort of looks like a bloody canvas. Weird, yes?

Is it? I have always thought that while everybody is making a big deal about that so called Ozzy-text, they are missing this one and I'm the only one who can see itSame here, but I've always been under the impression that the devil figure is really obvious, in the sense that everyone can see it there![]()

Well that's a cool find.
That should put the Ozzy text beliefs to rest for good.
That would be cool as it is for a poster! I'd buy one for sure!

The Kill Ozzy thing is purely just a strange detail. I mean it really does look like it. But I don't think it was intentional in any way. It was probably supposed to be part of the artwork.
