the marysville/sacramento show was awesome.
after mudvayne played security began hanging out tickets to go from the
lawn seats up to the nornal seating. so i went from the lawn to just
behind the pit right in front of the main stage. after maiden was a 25
minute pause the a giat red curtian dropped that read "black sabbath" in
the text from master of reality. you hear ozzy doing his normal "how tha
fuck ya doin out there tonight?" "i can't hear you!" etc. a movie plays on
the screens spanning the music and albums covers of the original 4 while
ozzy continues every once in a while. the the curtain moves to the left
and reveals the band and then ozzy comes in from the back grabs the mic
and yells more stuff. then they kick off NIB. i remember reviews saying
his voice cracked in prior shows not once did his voice crack. that extra
day he needed was totally worth it. the band continued with the exact set
list listed already but dirty women had and awesome added solo. the show
continued and was amazing then came the end ozzy wished all thoughs who
had been drinking, smoking dope, or doing whatever to not drive home and
that he'd see us next year you knwo the usual. but it was a great show and
the rest of ozzfest was awesome also. |
