Joe,

My wife, daughter, her boyfriend and I went to this concert. Understanding that I have been a Sabbath fan for over 35 years, I know how to be critical of the band, if necessary. I first saw them at the California Jam.

This Phoenix concert was awesome and inspiring. From reading articles up to the concert, we were worried we might not even see them. But it happened. Ozzy was full of energy, and never stopped. He really kept the crowd going. I couldn't believe how well he did considering news reports (I've never followed the whole reality TV thing, or most other reports). He still has to pick his songs carefully, but he hung in their and did well, playing a wide repertoire (sp?).

Know, the reason I have always loved Sabbath. How does Tony Iommi do it? He was just phenomenal!!!! Still the greatest guitar work I have ever seen. More than steady on every song of the playlist, as a matter of fact, extraordinary! His Gypsy Woman solo just kicked butt!! One question. How does he play on-stage outdoors in this weather (95 degrees with 50 percent humidity at least) and not break a sweat. Just unbelievable!

Geezer and Bill were steady as usual.

Got plenty of pictures, a Iommi guitar pick, and a great memory of the greatest heavy metal band (particularly the guitarist) of all times!!

Give me a write if there are any specifics or other information you'd like me to pass along.

Peace!!

Craig
