Seventeen years, since the last venue of Black Sabbath, Dio erea, in France. So when the Hellfest staff annouced that Heaven and Hell would play in Clisson in june, the Sab lovers booked the date. Just a little disappointment, when Motley Crue was proclaimed as the headline of the friday, meaning that Heaven and Hell would have only one hour to play. But enjoy the moment : we know that the next monday show is cancelled (not enough tickets sold...), and we will wait until the end of the evenig. So the night was falling over Clisson when Anthrax ended its show : just five minutes, ans the gods of metal would be on stage. Lights off, E5-150 sounds : they are here, with the new stage material. No surprise about the set list, everything is ordered with precision : Geezer and Tony each on his own side of the stage, Vinnie in his fabulous drums kit, Scott hidden (what a pity), and Ronnie, still the best. The guys seem happy to be here and play together, even Tony smiles... Old songs to begin, then Ronnie talks about the new album, coming to the edge of the stage. Bible Black, Fear, the power of the two new tracks around Time Machine kicks the fans. So we're back in the eighties, with Falling and Die Young. Unfortunately, we know that the end is near. Heaven and Hell, of course, in a long version, comes as a conclusion. We hoped some more, even if we know it wouldn't come : a Black Sabbath (or Heaven and Hell) show is always too short. See you, guys, and thank you for the show.
