One minute before I learned this terrible news, I wanted to listen to Born Again De Luxe version. As I 'm just listening to Stonehenge extended version, I want to say that Geoff will remain an immense artist whose contribution to the life of Sabbath has been phenomenal.
      A big loss.

Posted by Tony Iommi just 33 minutes ago. And we hear it almost direct from the man; the world is sure different.

So sorry to hear this, it's a bit of shock!

R.I.P. Geoff, you will always be remembered and never forgotten, you are a big part of Black Sabbath, I say are because your music will live on forever, in our hearts, ears and soul, may God bless you, you are in his kingdom now.
"Without Black Sabbath there never would have been an Ozzy, and without Ozzy there never would have been a Black Sabbath"
"If there ever was a band whose voice is so significant and distinct, that band is Black Sabbath and the voice is Ozzy Osbourne"

                Oh god...

                This is horrible news indeed.

Geoff was such an integral part of Sabbath for 2 decades...he will be dearly missed.

Another sad day. I met Geoff one time back in Philly, he signed a dollar bill for me. Probably more influential to the direction Sabbath took in the late 80's-early 90's then people realized or gave him credit for. RIP, Sir.

Well this is an unpleasant surprise. It sucks when a member of the Black Sabbath family passes. RIP

RIP Mr. Nicholls, a journeyman whose talent became part of Black Sabbath's musical DNA.
