  • Favorite Black Sabbath album without Ozzy or Dio

What is your favorite Black Sabbath album without Ozzy or Dio on vocals?
I think that "Other Eras" is the most appropriate place to post this, but this includes the Tony Martin era albums.

    Mine is Born Again.

(Edit). I meant to add a poll, but I was somehow forgot to add it, so this is just a regular thread.

Born Again, possibly my favorite post Ozzy era album period.
"Without Black Sabbath there never would have been an Ozzy, and without Ozzy there never would have been a Black Sabbath"
"If there ever was a band whose voice is so significant and distinct, that band is Black Sabbath and the voice is Ozzy Osbourne"

For those who've been members since before Feb. 2015; sorry for repeating myself yet again, but since iWiz started the thread, someone need to represent this point of view:

There's only one non Ozzy album that sound like Sabbath, and even remotely deserve to bear their name:

            Born Again

Btw, cool to see so many go for BA. Doesn't seem that long ago it was Sabbaths most hated album along Never Say Die!, 7th Star and Forbidden...

95% of everything i say is pure bullshit just for the fun of it. The other 95% is damn serious!

That's true. The reason I like Born Again better then the other post Ozzy albums is because it actually sounds like Black Sabbath.

Born Again, Cross Purposes, Seventh Star. In that order.

On a related note: Anyone else think that "The Fallen" has kind of a Zeppelinish bend to it?

Forget my avatar. Right now I would pick Born Again. I bought it on vinyl when it came out and loved both the music and the cover from day 1

I'll say 'Born Again'. Even though I have a hard time calling it a "favorite" ( ). Still, a decent album overall.

Going by the result of this, Eternal Idol must be considered the worst Sabbath record
