  • Oh Boy...What is the Greatest Song on "7th Star"?

    Can you find one?

I suppose I'm down with "In for the Kill" though I really like the riff in Seventh Star.

I think I'd like more of this album if it weren't Glenn Hughes on Vox.

    Anyway, without further musing:

    One more musing:

Two songs with the word "heart" in the title...a telling sign.

No Stranger To Love, I've always liked that song, from its inception.
"Without Black Sabbath there never would have been an Ozzy, and without Ozzy there never would have been a Black Sabbath"
"If there ever was a band whose voice is so significant and distinct, that band is Black Sabbath and the voice is Ozzy Osbourne"

One track stands a mile above all others here and that is HEART LIKE A WHEEL. A brilliant heavy blues number with great solo...

Seventh Star, riff and song are quintessential Sabbath imo, as much as Symptom... I wish I liked Heart like a wheel more, I'm not a blues person so it depends on my mood.

                Voted Star, Memory and Stranger.

In for the Kill, Danger Zone & Heart Like a Wheel are probably my favourite three tracks, but I enjoy them all. This album has done a complete 360 for me from when it first came out.

                      I think you mean a 180.

Sorry about that, but being a numbers guy, I can't help it.
Of course, if you meant you loved it, then hated it, and then loved it
again, well that would be a 360!

I'll pick 'No Stranger To Love'. A clear attempt by Iommi to join the power ballad club for radio airplay in 1986. Rightly or wrongly ().

I was gonna roll with that one to save face, but I just couldn't bring myself to lie
