What I have heard the Bass guitar seems to be mixed pretty well. The new bass player is really good. Gus G the new guitar player too is so far very very good on the album. The production also is very good this time. I am still listening so right now cannot comment on the tracks.

There is no new bass player. Blasko did Black Rain as well and has been with Ozzy since 2003.

Diggin me down is a Ozzy classic track, I Really enjoy this. Best Ozzy record since No mero tears.
            Gus G explodes everything.

                I too really like this.

---------- Post added at 04:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:06 PM ----------

Diggin Me Down has a VERY Sabbath-esque opening riff.

Woooow!!!!! After hearing Let Me Hear Your Scream I wasn't expecting nothing special. But after listening to the entire album I can abolutely say that it's the return of old great Ozzy! Replacing Zakk was a very good decision. I'm really impressed. Gonna buy it as a full version, not the Sony Music's Eastern Europe shitty Eco pack.

I haven't been excited about anything Ozzy has done in a long time, but this has piqued my interest a bit. Let It Die has a nice eastern feel to it, just a shame about the processed vocals Definitely digging the next guitar player.

Listened to most of it earlier today. There's a few weak spots. But the album is 1000 times better the Black Rain!!!! I think the album lags a bit in terms of having real memorable riffs. But the allure is the way the vocals mix with the chord changes. There's lots of hook & catchiness on that level. Gus is doing a lot of Zakk-isms. But that doesn't bother me too much. He is quite an impressive player. Overall I can safely say I want to have this album in my collection.

I love the tracks "Diggin me Down" and "I Want it more". I also feel in between songs there are sabbath moments but for few seconds. Seems to be very strong album apart from few songs. The new Guitarist on the album is a breath of fresh air. I was sick and tired of Zakk. Gus G has done a fantastic job on the album.

Yeah I meant about Blasko. He's new in the sense that he's just an album old. On this new album the bass sound is pretty potent.

Turns out when Gus came in the songs were already written and he just did the solos and reworked some of the riffs and shit. This is news to me. Sounds like another Down to Earth situation. Not really complaining though.
