  • Fantasy Ozzy Osbourne Setlists

Just an idea I got from ruminating on Ozzy's current tour setlist. If Ozzy could successfully sing anything from his catalogue and was on his final tour ever, what would you want the setlist to be? Perhaps if we keep it at a maximum of 15 full vocal songs to be realistic.

Requiem's Fantasy Ozzy Osbourne Setlist for No More Tours 2

    1. 'I Don't Know' from Blizzard of Ozz

    2. 'Perry Mason' from Ozzmosis

    3. 'Mr Tinkertrain' from No More Tears

    4. 'Mr Crowley' from Blizzard of Ozz

    5. 'Flying High Again' from Diary of a Madman

    6. 'Shot in the Dark' from The Ultimate Sin

    Zakk Guitar Solo

    7. 'The Ultimate Sin' from The Ultimate Sin

    8. 'Suicide Solution' from Blizzard of Ozz

    9. 'Life Won't Wait' from Scream

    10. 'Bark at the Moon' from Bark at the Moon

    Tommy Aldridge Drum Solo

    11. 'Miracle Man' from No Rest for the Wicked

    12. 'Goodbye to Romance' from Blizzard of Ozz

    13. 'No More Tears' from No More Tears

    Encore:

    14. 'Diary of a Madman' from Diary of a Madman

    15. 'Crazy Train' from Blizzard of Ozz

This would be my ultimate setlist. Alas, I can only dream....

Oh I forgot 'Suicide Solution'. Maybe I can put that in somewhere to make up 15 tracks. I also deliberately left out any Sabbath cuts, including 'Paranoid', although I wouldn't walk out early if he played it!

Well, since this is a "fantasy" setlist, let's have some songs he would never perform or normally doesn't perform.

        1) Waiting For Darkness
        2) Black Rain
        3) S.A.T.O.
        4) Old L.A. Tonight
        5) Whole World's Fallin' Down
        6) Facing Hell (Guitar solo)
        7) Breaking All The Rules
        8) Now You See It, Now You Don't
        9) (Drum solo) Fire In The Sky
        10) Diggin' Me Down
        11) Lay Your World On Me
        12) Ghost Behind My Eyes
        13) Fool Like You
        Encore
        14) Nightmare
        15) Dreamer

I would freakin' love to see this show! Yes, this would be brilliant! They're not all my favourite tracks ever, but it would be really cool to see him playing these songs in a live context.

          Nice list.

A fantasy setlist for Ozzy? Well, first of all, no Sabbath songs - we've heard them already and there are so many great choices from Ozzy's solo catalogue to be made...

            Bark At The Moon
            Mr. Tinkertrain
            Suicide Solution
            Killer Of Giants
            Waiting For Darkness

            Over The Mountain
            Slow Down
            The Ultimate Sin
            Diary Of A Madman
            Goodbye To Romance

            Miracle Man
            Flying High Again
            Breaking All The Rules
            Mr. Crowley
            Road To Nowhere

            Shot In The Dark
            Hellraiser
            I Don't Know
            Mama I'm Coming Home
            Crazy Train
            -------------------------

I couldn't care less as to how good or bad Ozzy would sing all of these.
"He is the King of all kings, the keeper of light...He holds eternity's wings"

I don't have a whole setlist like that, but a few songs I'd like to see him throw in there since it's the last run and all: Over The Mountain, Flying High Again, The Ultimate Sin, Killer Of Giants, Miracle Man, Fire In The Sky, Mr. Tinkertrain, Perry Mason, see You On The Other Side and Gets Me Through. Great songs, solid hits, and stuff that would spruce up the set a bit.

I would love to see S.A.T.O. thrown into these fantasy setlists, love that song.
"Without Black Sabbath there never would have been an Ozzy, and without Ozzy there never would have been a Black Sabbath"
"If there ever was a band whose voice is so significant and distinct, that band is Black Sabbath and the voice is Ozzy Osbourne"
