  • Rank Ordinary Man tracks best to worst

    Here's mine:

    1. Under The Graveyard
    2. Holy For Tonight
    3. All My Life
    4. Today Is The End
    5. Straight To Hell
    6. Goodbye
    7. Scary Little Green Men
    8. Ordinary Man
    9. Eat Me
    10. Its A Raid
    11. Take What You Want

First seven tracks are all great, tracks 8 and 9 are good, not too fussed on Goodbye (sounds a bit Sabbath try-hard to me), and Take What You Want shouldn't be on the album.

    1. Ordinary Man
    2. Holy For Tonight
    3. Today Is The End
    4. Scary Little Green Men
    5. All My Life
    6. Goodbye
    7. Under The Graveyard
    8. Straight To Hell
    9. It's A Raid
    10. Eat Me
    11. Take What You Want
    12. Darkside Blues

The first 6 songs are interchangeable at any given moment. Under The Graveyard is low on my list due to it having a very similar intro to Take What You Want. I like most of the songs in some way on Ordinary Man except the last 2. I've said this in another post but on iTunes I relabeled Take What You Want as being on Post Malone's Hollywood's Bleeding album, so it doesn't come up when I'm listening to Ordinary Man. Darkside Blues just shouldn't exist. It feels like one of those things that's tacked on to the last song of an album as a joke like Blow On A Jug from Sabotage. Except Blow On A Jug is hilarious whereas Darkside Blues is pathetic since it seems like some effort was made to produce it.

What's Darkside Blues? An iTunes bonus track or something??

        1: All My Life
        2: Scary Little Green Men
        3: Straight to Hell
        4: Goodbye
        5: Today is the End
        6: Under the Graveyard
        7: Ordinary Man
        8: Eat Me
        9: It's a Raid
        10: Holy for Tonight
        11: Take What You Want

Like someone else said...the first 6 are all interchangeable because they're all so good but All My Life just sticks with me at #1. Don't know why, just have a connection to it.

It's the Japanese bonus track. I created a topic about it.

Goodbye has grown on me the last few days. I see it more as a homage to Sabbath, rather than an attempt to recreate the Sabbath sound.

I still don't get why they didn't include the original version of Take What You Want on the album, seeing as it is a proper duet. I don't think many Travis Scott fans were going to be buying Ozzy's album, so why it was left off in favour of the single version is a very strange decision.

Surprised to see Eat Me so low on everyone’s list. I think it’s one of the better songs from the album.

Yeah, when I found out Take What You Want was on the album I was really hoping it was the "OG demo" version with just Post and Ozzy. A shame Ozzy wasn't able to get that one on his album

                          They're all crap. Kidding.

Hate these three. Never want to hear them again

I'm not sure if I can rank them, but the ones that stick out to me are All My Life, Scary Little Green Men and Holy For Tonight.
The lyrics are dumb as shit but I quite like Eat Me.
The singles are all OK I'm not blown away by any of them though...the title track just doesn't press the buttons it's supposed to for me.

The Post Malone stuff is fucking rubbish, doesn't belong on an OZZY album.

I think Ordinary Man (the song) is trying so hard to be November Rain 2, but it's really not that good, unfortunately.
