  • Bill reunited with Sabbath at Grammy Tribute to Sabbath

    in case anyone missed this...

BLACK SABBATH members Tony Iommi (guitar) and Geezer Butler (bass) reunited with their estranged drummer Bill Ward at last night's (Saturday, May 11) "Grammy Salute To Music Legends" awards ceremony and live tribute concert at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Ozzzy was a no show...must have been his health.

    Thanks Wicked for posting this!

Looking at those pictures and reading about this makes two things very clear:

    1. Friendship and brotherhood is all that matters
    2. Why I keep wearing black

To be honest the pics I saw of those 3 guys, it looks like there is a lot of tension still and no way Ozzy would be there along as Bill was present and vice versa.

To be honest I think Ozzy is done with his mates, for good.

A couple of old pals hanging out. Not really a reunion. Good to see though!

Strange to look at the photos of these guys, so many years after they started such a great thing.

It's funny what money, fame, greed and grudges will do to people. If you could have shown them in 1970 what would have happened over the next 50 years, I bet they never would have believed it.

I think Ozz's health was the reason for not being there...

Ozzy is all archived photos and quotes from family members now. Rescheduled dates not withstanding...

Ozzy most likely will have to retire earlier than he planned and cancel his farewell tour.

I hope he is okay, I think it is time for him to stop touring, for the sake of his health.

Though I think he still has an album in him, he should give us that.

A few days ago I read that the Hollywood bowl concert as well as the other tour dates were rescheduled. http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/ozz...-bowl-concert/

Also according to Jack, OZZY is doing much much better.

Thanks for posting the pictures to this forum! It's great to see some of my heroes together in pictures together like that! I already saw them elsewhere, but I do appreciate you taking the time to post them to here.

It would indeed be great if they re-unite for special occasions!
