Dude, how the heck did you come across this? I was just about to have tea and biscuits, but now, I can't, because my stomach is turning...maybe I should've let the word 'disturbing' register deeper into my mind lolll But it is interesting. I had no clue!

I lost a few hours of sleep over it. I may just be cremated myself.

Ditto.
The dog's name is Pete. If he tries to mount you in the middle of the night, say "no" sternly. But don't look him in the eye.

Re: Some disturbing but factual stuff when we die

I found those articles interesting but well, kind of disturbing. The most disturbing thing to me however wasn't the idea of the corspes exploding but the idea that you can get a deadly disease just by having one of those bug things land in your mouth. I'm definatly going to request that my body be cremated once my organs are removed to benefit people who are still alive when I die.

I still think some of this is exagerated - i cannot fathom the idea of 20 gallons of "whatever" in somebodys coffin.

I have relatives in mausoleums and outdoor crypts and I never smell anything, so obviously when they put the coffin in there, it is either in something or sealed some other way.

Usually most good caskets are pretty well sealed, bugs can't get in for probably 100 years or more.

What bothers me is what is supposedly going on INSIDE the sealed casket.

There are always those very few incorruptible bodys, mostly belonging to saints who some of them died some 500 years ago.

And no they werent embalmed.
