Revival of an old thread by a new member. I've seen a lot of the usual suspects which comes with the territory. The dna of a band like Sabbath touches a lot of bands/artists and styles.

I thought the inclusion of Mojo Nixon above was great. Got to see him live once, what a blast. Im looking thru the lists to see if anything tickles my curiosity and this one certainly did Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13. Ill be looking for others too.

For my part here's some of mine by no means all inclusive nor is it exclusive, tried to not have much duplication
        The Clash
        The Pogues
        X
        Dead Kennedys
        Bad Religion
        The Stooges
        Wayne Kramer/MC5
        Sonny Vincent
        Billy Bragg
Ministry/Revolting Cocks, Lard (uncle Al makes magic).
        The Cramps
        Black Joe Louis
        Detroit Cobras
        Gogol Bordello
        Fugazi
        Gary Clarke Jr
        Nick Cave
        The Jam
        Rancid
        The Specials
        Public Enemy
        Social Distortion
        SLF
        Ted Leo
        Samantha Fish
        Hendrix (of course)

I dont delve into metal much in general for a long time other than Sabbath and some Slayer at times. Im old have a lot of albums and my music interests have gone in waves. What I tend to always come round to is music that is aggressive and powerful musically and or lyrically especially guitar driven music. I think there are no bad styles of music just bad execution of styles or music in general.
