    • Dio - Live in Spokane 1LP, 2nd edition, black vinyl, matt cover

I already had four 1st edition copies (all differently numbered, one white cover, the other three black cover), and two 2nd edition ones (one multicoloured vinyl, the other black vinyl glossy cover), so this is my 7th copy

as far as I know, it's the only variant of this record that I didn't have

                Black Sabbath - Sabotage LP
                Queen - Queen II LP
Megadeth - Rust in Peace (CD with the original 1990 mix)

                      • I'm gonna belatedly join the rest of you cool dudes in snapping up Slayer's World Painted Blood by the end of next week.

Meantime, I've eagerly bought a bunch of albums by some superb 'sludge-metal' and otherwise 'extreme' acts that I've always loved and admired. These purchases complete my full collection of albums by these bands.

Ha, I'm due to get that on Monday, latest. Can't seem to wait that long. But hey, this disc has only just been 'officially' released. How did you already buy a new digipack copy, in Ocbober?

Wall, no kidding, you're dead serious, huh? Further proof of how there's no second-guessing personal tastes in MUSIC. Damn, you wasted your money. Though, I'm expecting to be a lot luckier, somehow. LOL

I made the online pre-order in October, the luxurious digipack (2 different surfaces: a sand paper-like for the logos, the title and the sculpture on the front & inside and the edges on the back, a glossy one for song titles on the back) arrived on Nov 4th.

What a massive piece of oriental death metal the album is - again. Another addition to the great "journey" that Nile is...Well, I'm a sucker for everything oriental and brutal, technically supremely demanding death metal...this new album will demand a thorough, complete discography listening theme as it has been the case with Nile so far. I have listened to it for a few times now, but I will soon start the "boat trip" on the waves of Nile...
