That's a great album, one of my personal favourites and full of nice memories of times past. I hope it completed your Amon Amarth collection now or it's at least the fifth consecutive album that you've bought starting from the beginning of Amon Amarth discography. If you're still missing albums like Versus The World, With Oden On Our Side or the magnum opus Twilight Of The Thunder God, you can have my deepest recommendation to get those as well.

While Amon Amarth have many great songs under their belt buckles, I wonder will they ever top their crowning achievement, a jewel of which one of their heroes, the master Quorthon must be proud too...sometimes this song is just too much for me...

The local metal shop actually got a new stock of Amon Amarth digipaks in last weekend. I'm planning to check that out this weekend, got Versus The World on my mind.
Let's see if they have it...from what I've seen on the Surtur Rising bonus DVD, though, these earlier albums sound excellent.

                              • ^^^^ @ Thelemech, I especially like the inclusion of Cirith Ungol, a local band (Ventura, CA) that never quite made the BIG time, but made at least three really great albums, one of which is on your list. I remember the kids wearing Cirith Ungol shirts when I was a "kid" but I never knew anything about the band until relatively recently. I love your list, except I hate Bob Marley.
