Those who despise him are usually only aware of his more 'successful' songs, but if you listen to his back or 'unsuccessful' catalogue you will find some 'hard' or even 'heavy' gems.

Listen to songs like Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding, I've Seen That Movie Too, All The Nasties, My Father's Gun, Midnight Creeper, Tower Of Babel, Bitter Fingers, Better Off Dead, Curtains. Your opinion might change

I don't listen to Elton John that much but I do credit him as a musical genius absolutely.

I got lucky. The day I found it, the guy had 2 up and both sold immediately. Its for sale at CD Universe now. Its an import, though, so I think it costs like $25.
